Hi Jason This is an excellent train video 📹. I see that you have snow 🌨 on the ground. But,just wait until the snow 🌨 comes in feet. And it's time to FIX THE POLE!
I have counted 2 engines and 23 cars on this train today.
Orange Freddy, contrasts nicely with the fresh snow. I wonder if Freddy was doin the rock'n of that car. 🤔

Here's an old rail memory. I lived, in the early 80s, right across hwy 58 at Claymine Rd in N. Edwards, CA. There is a mainline going along hwy 58 there. I often wondered about walking to the RR teasels here and there as the very top of Rogers Fry Lake bed was about 1/4 to 1/2 mile from the highway.
So I walked there, in the middle of the night. I could hear a train in the distance, likely around the CA City turnoff. Which gave me time for a couple tokes. I stoop right under the train. I had to kneel a bit to not be sticking too close to the tracks. Lusky I did since the rail dropps a couple feet when a train is on the tracks.
When the train was there, it felt like energy going through my body. I knew the situation was safe, but I could feel the locomotive breath as it passed by. What a rush!

Good to see trains in snow.❄️🚂❄️ I'd rather have a train earthquake than a CA earthquake, or mudslides, or droughts, or wild fires, or etc. Looking forward to part 3+ more maybe.👍😁🇺🇲

Now that is just the right amount of snow enough to highlight the ground and branches but not enough to have trouble walking through. Make note to have the State Historical Society put up a plaque here by the bent Pole as long as Survivor of a traffic owie. It really looks strange to see those orange gons now with their old reporting marks back and the metal sides up so apparently they're headed for interchange traffic on the CN
Noticed that the orange gondolas with raised ends now have extensions in the middle to keep the logs in place. Wonder if that was done at the behest of someone reporting a hanging log about to fall?

I am from Southern California. And believe me you don’t want to know what a earthquake feels like. It is the scariest thing ever. Because you don’t know how long it is going to last, or how close you are from the center of it. If you are lucky it maybe only 20 seconds. Or it could be like the famous Northridge quake that went for 90 seconds!! And that bad boy hit at 4:30 in the morning! I was 50 miles away from the center! I have been in several different ones before but that was bad real bad! Most of them come to you with a sharp movement then it will roll by like waves. But that one was scary! Hear you are sound asleep you hear it coming just before you feel it. That one was so bad it lifted the house then dropped it! No you don’t want to experience that! We usually get a ride about every 20 years. WE ARE PASSED DUE! OH SHIT!! Steven Sipes

i worked as a conductor for a while, if we knock these things over we had to report it, so already taken care of i imagine.
Utilities. However one either side this line goes to a power pole.
