dope video , I just got a new 2024 mustang gt , its my first mustang. The 2013-14 mustangs are the best looking mustangs in my opinion. That gt500 is a very clean spec, very dope car.
I bought my 2014 GT500 with 5500 miles on it last Jan and it is an absolute blast to drive. Its my 6th Mustang but my 1st Shelby. You get these 2 cars out on the road and hands down the GT500 will turn more heads.

In the GT review, we TRIED a 0-60 pull that went less than perfect and we try not to go hard on new dealer-owned cars or trucks out of respect for the dealers and future owners. We are working with some connections to try and get some opportunity to acquire some real-world performance test reviews but that is still in the works. I have had my convertible 2014 gt500 since 2016 and will never sell it! In summer time, I drive it every day! The recaro seats are fantastic and not too narrow for me as opposed to the ones in a gt 350. The ride is firm but not harsh . You can do road trips with this car, road courses and drag strips, it does everything well and sounds amazing!When I want a smoother ride and more luggage room I drive my Cayenne…
Driven both. The 24 with the normal suspension can be a bit rough. It will launch very hard and its awesome. I enjoy how its easier to get in the Shelby and how it gives a more raw experience.
Before watching video. I will say for daily driven and comfort the S650. That being said I consider the Shelby to be the greatest mustang every built. Only mustang I would say can match the Shelby is the original Boss 429. Maybe you can give me your opinion, I have driven 2012 GT500 Track Pack an felt the ride was actually really good but some reviews say 13/14 wasn’t to good ride quality.
The S650 Wins all day in the comfort department. As I tried to briefly cover in the video, I would personally not want to drive my GT500 every day. As for the Boss 429 cars, I am personally not a fan of the Larry Shinoda years. #1, Ford was looking for some separation with Shelby for some good reasons and not-so-good reasons. #2. Again, my opinion but the Mustang became too big and cumbersome from the original design and intention of Lee Iacocca As for me personally, with an unlimited budget for a Mustang, that would be a 67 427 GT500 with 2 Holley carbs and a 4-speed direct from Shelby American. Granted that there are probably average cars now that could outperform the 67 GT500 and do it with your favorite MP3 blasting and the AC on high but it is just the pedigree of a small group of hot rodders in a small shop at 1042 Princeton Drive pulling off getting factory support and taking on what was at the time the world’s best. Lol 2012 supersnake is that shelby the shelby 1000 is also that guy. The s197 platform is what I'm talking about not the s550 version that has a coyote.
14 GT 500 has basically same rear calipers as a v6 mustang,so sad,.the 2024 performance pack 6 piston brembo is in the front and 4 piston brembo in the rear feel like you're going to go through the front windshield when you break.
I see a lot of people really trying to pump this car up. The interior don’t look bad but the outside looks like a warmed over Camaro with the body lines.

From someone who has been fascinated with the evolution of the automobile from its history in the 1900's tell today with the pressure from EPA, safety, insurance regulations, and everything designed in a wind tunnel the reality is there is only so much makeup and lipstick that can be applied to one basic shape and size of a car and its sad to see personality slowly leave the auto industry.
