- I love these crowd reactions when Blizzard announce new games, so I wanted to have one for myself!
Recorded on a GoPro camera, I didn't get a seat close enough to a screen, so I added the clip from the free stream. The framerate is slightly off, so it gets a little out of sync as it goes on.
Sorry for the slightly shaky cam... that GoPro is tiny, and I also had a tiny stereo microphone to work with too.

Overwatch in the beggining was supposed to be an animated movie but they saw how cool everything was and they decided to make a game out of it

Im happy that its a game, but when I initially saw the trailer I thought that this had the potential to be an animated film. The cinematics and animation is that good.

Honestly it makes me happy for the Overwatch/ Titan team at Blizzard.

+Captain Canuck Yes! Gamespot did a 3-part series, the first one called "The Fall of Titan". It's a pretty solid series, gives you a lot of insight on how Overwatch came about and how they approached designing it.
I remember this reveal and being pretty pissed that it would be awful and just a TF2 copy.
Almost 2 years later and boy was I wrong.

Nearer in a physical sense as the PCs where people could play Overwatch were literally right next to the main hall. However people didn't know until the end of the show that they could try Overwatch right there at BlizzCon. It was a nice tease.

I cried my eyes out. Been gaming for nearly 30 years and overwatch is one of my favorite games ever. Blizzard is just amazing.
This honestly just breaks my heart watching this almost a decade later knowing just how this story went from an awesome new IP from one of gaming's top studios to the train wreck of a "sequel" that should've/could've just been a major update, that is rapidly declining in its already ragged state and that goes for both the game and the studio unfortunately. Goodbye Old Blizzard and RIP Overwatch

Jason Voorhees thats what i like about Blizzard, you buy their games and they promise you amazing timely content and updates and new characters. The game is worth every cent i even built a PC and bought it there to play with my friends.

Overwatch reveal reactions are my favourite. It is like ten minutes straight of "I don't know what this is BUT IT IS GREAT!". Blizzard fans are the best.

I, being Blizzard fan for like 10 year, despite disliking the direction the company was going, it was great to see that the company have reach a new height. This was also the same years that Warcraft movie was first step in production. Sure the movie wasn't as mind blowing to the general audience but I still love it. And the company just annouced a movie studio open last years. It just great to see how far this company have become.
Seeing blizzard introduced new IP is also the greatest feeling ever. I mean opening a new universe and adventure. Say whatever you want about Blizzard but their universe are amazing and unique no matter how cliche it is.

I never played a blizzard game before Overwatch, and I love it. It took me a couple weeks after release to get my hands on it, but I have it now. I'm here for the sake of seeing what it was like for the reveal, and holy cow, this game was announced 2 years ago!? Why did the big hype not start till 9 months ago? Why was this not the biggest thing ever 24 months ago??? Or was it, and I just didnt care to look at it?
