One thing you mentioned early was the price to convert the bond, this isn't needed to redeem the bond. This saves a good portion when calculating how much you need to make
Weird how these get posted. I literally was just thinking about buying membership instead of buying bonds. Don't get me wrong it's nice to save money BUT then you have to put a lot more effort into the game to maintain that membership. I guess it depends on your financial situation but i'm starting to go more towards "I play a lot less so i'd rather pay IRL and just play the game how I want instead of grinding to maintain a bond". LOL I loved the Joe in a cone part. It's so true :D
This will be great for you! I’m on the opposite end and wondering if I should do a challenge run and attempt to keep membership running with bonds only, however my account isn’t loaded with good levels. Still mid game 70s at best so, I’m in fear that when I watch this video I’m gonna realize I can’t maintain bond unless I’m doing a terrible grind that counteracts the purpose of playing the game entirely
I'm so glad they let u use in game money for members. It's helps me out since I'm on a fixed income. Slayer pays the bills lol that's how I make money in-game also. & Having 112 slayer really helps out. A lot of hours in there but it was worth it.
really depends how much free time you have to spend on the game, i've had one account with bonds and it took like 90% of my playtime just to maintain and only 10% actually progressing. paying with real money is just so much more worth it if you don't have much free time, and more enjoyable.
I'm glad we bond sellers and you bond buyers can coexist. Spending so much time to get the money for a bond isn't worth it at all if i can work 1 shift overtime a month and make many bonds from that
AsukaYen could you please guide me on the altimate (Duradel) block task list for maximum XP, currently 96 Slayer, 400k away from level 97. Got Hydra pet at 303KC about 4 nights ago. Should i stop with Konar and do Duradel straight to 99?
It really depends on what you're looking for. There's a ton of variations that can go into this. But to keep it short: Duradel for the most profit, Nieve/Steve for the faster XP to 99 (A lot of cannon tasks). Use Konar every 10th task for the points boost.
As someone who pays for their membership only with bonds, the easiest way to think about it is to break it into how much I would need to make per day to make that bond at minimum, which at current prices is about 500k/day, which is very doable
@@hushpuppi3 my combat levels are only 70 at best. Prayers around 70 too. Don’t feel confident that those levels will get him. I die to the mole boss still dude LOL
@@hushpuppi3 yeah that’s why I just quit and maybe in the future if I get my things in order and wanna add OSRS back into rotation I will. I just don’t wanna grab it when I always end up not playing enough. I’m tempted to make an iron man and just start free to play and see what happens! Maybe one day I’ll return to my noob main lol
How about a video talking about coming back after a burn for osrs. Have been burned and been playing other games and i still want to max my main but i find it hard getting back into osrs.
Really good honest video. No "secret tricks" or easy to do f2p techniques that are gonna plummet in price if too many people are attempting them at once
I used to maintain my bonds through slayer. As months were passing by i was noticing that my progress was slow, so i started checking some websites and found cheap membership for like less 4/5 €/$ than the OSRS site. 24days for 8€ (+10 days for 2/3€ less) is a great business in my opinion and because i kept the gp and paid with real money i started progressing way faster. My advice: if you still need lots of armour and buyable skills i don't think a bond is the best way, because you will reach the point where you can make serious money faster and save money then
never played osrs before but my friend got me into it and gave me a bond 10 days ago and I made enough to buy a bond today just doing farm runs and doing wiki money methods that were pretty afk. I was also able to quest and spend a good amount of gp while doing all that.
If you find the graphics and animations dated, then I highly recommend giving hdos a try. Think runelite 117 but it looks and runs 10x better than runelite. I haven't even logged back in to runelite since switching because it's so much smoother and runs so much better. It's honestly crazy how much of a difference it really is.
I think it depends a lot on my your situation. For me , I have always just paid monthly so I could progress my account the way I wanted, instead of the way I needed. Even with a 2b+ bank I still pay monthly just to support this game that I love
@@ant5963 Ehhhh I dont really agree. Yeah you spent more for membership with bonds than you would with monthly payments, but the guy who bought all those bonds to sell probably cut anywhere from 5-100 hours of play time that he wouldve spent for the same upgrade. Time and money are the same. Where as if he wouldve paid the 10 bucks, and just played for a month then jagex would get play time AND money. It evens out somewhere trust me
@@petar4209 Money is important, but no its not more important than people actually playing their game. If every single player logs off, but keeps their membership going then the servers would still get shut down. Again time is money... They are one in the same

This is kinds clickbait. No actual tips in here other than buy a bond. I appreciate the value proposition, but at the end of the day, you really only listed things members can do, and if you can afford a membership for 1-6 months anyway... You wouldn't need ways to make money in f2p for a bond
best way if you are truly new get a bond. making jewelry. this levels crafting. 130k an hour or so. once u get member do this : giants foundry work towards the double mould. buy cheap iron and steel items to use as ''bars'' get the double mould do the dwarf cannon quest. and then make cannonballs its 300k an hour its easy and reliable. and gets a bond in about 100 hours of work. also i didnt like the whole video because the answer was never answered... imho. just o buy a half a year member. grind to endgame. and use endgame to maintain.
HEADS UP: you don't need to convert the bonds to redeem the membership, you only need to pay the 10% fee to convert if you would like to make it tradeable again. Therefore it is not 7.5m every 14 days, it's just the base 6.8m.
I am the worst PVM player (bossing of course) in the history of the game and I upkeep a bond on 3 accounts EASILY! Two accounts are the AFK accounts and a main. I save up enough gp to buy at least 3 bonds for each AFK account with their own money when starting out (buy bonds and save overage until I can afford 3 at once), after that all the the money you get is free for a long time, then I just buy 1 bond each time I need it from there instead of stacking them so I can give the excess to my main. It's insanely easy. Each bond cycle I clear about 10-15m each AFK account + their own bond. That's not a lot of money but other than the account prepping I'm not doing much with those accounts.
