I mean even other depressing lofi is like easy to listen to in the background. I get your point though. This playlist is kinda inspirational but the meaning is versatile depending on your feelings and interpretations on it. When I come to this video today, I feel a little sad. Maybe it's because at the time when I discovered this channel I was going through so much stuff, back in 2020 I felt like everyday was just a waste of time. I feel bad for my past self, I don't think I deserved that kind of hardship, where ending my life was always an option in my head. But, if somehow, my past self could read this right now, all I have to say is... Thank you for not giving up, and thank you for not letting your intrusive thoughts win and take your life away. Right now, we're almost ending 2022, and we've made an incredible progress: I've been working out, I'm eating well, I drink more water, I sleep better, I'm getting back to my hobbies, and I left behind me all that which stopped me from being who I am today. Today, I'm on a joruney to be better each day, not perfect, but better. I'm taking it one step at a time. But I just need you to remember this... Every step forward, as little as it can be, is important for you
I just realized that I have been here for almost three years now. Thanks, Dreamy for introducing me to the lofi genre. As a student, listening to this music has helped me to relax and stop overthinking a lot. And as a classical musician, listening to classical music when studying can be distracting at times, so lofi is the perfect genre to study to. It's 3:00 am ... and it's kind of peaceful here, all that sorrow left me alone for just a minute. I'm alone, and slowly learning that can be a good thing.
Looking at the stars moving in the background and nothing else, you can say that she’s in a geosynchronous orbit, matching the planet’s rotation and following a singular point on the planet’s surface. So I want to imagine what’s she’s looking at is her hometown and feeling homesick. To all those away from home and looking at the stars and feeling homesick, this comment is for you. I feel you, we’ll get through this together.
Goodness, can you imagine seeing that? Waking up and that's your view. I know at this point it's sci-fi and, if it happens, it will be far into the future, but seeing this picture (or pictures), it makes me hope that I get to be reincarnated so I can see things like this. To be part of a world/universe with views like this and all the wonders that come with it. I'm sure there will be challenges in the future, but how can you not be optimistic and even excited at the idea that THIS could be your everyday? The Universe itself outside your window? That's something to smile about.

It's not a question of if, but when. This future is inevitable. Small scale commercial nuclear reactors (the size of a desk) are 2-3 years away. Space X will have a rocket that can carry 100+ people, refuel in space, and land itself within 4 years. A moon/mars colony is likely 10 years away. Assuming continued exponential developments in the field of medicine, the first immortals will probably be born 20 years from now. Robotic prosthetics, sensory enhancement devices and brain-computer interfaces are already being used to treat degenerative diseases, Alzheimer's and sensory impairment. I think we'll start to see regular people using them within 5-10 years. The humans of the future will not be recognizable as humans to us. They will have different desires, different thoughts, different bodies. They will be super-human, but simultaneously, I fear that they might loose the very things that made them human. Hardships force us to work together to overcome our individual limitations. What will happen when there are no external forces left to struggle against? Our perception of the world is shaped by the physical limitations of our external environment. What happens to communication, meaning, truth; when we can change anything and everything at will? Will we even be able to understand eachother?
@@madisonbell5481 I appreciate both your optimism on our scientific advancement and the question you pose. It actually reminds of the big question of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Basically, how can we all be happy if we're separate/don't understand each other. The answer: we have to accept that people are different from us, with different desires and fears, but that this doesn't make them bad. At the same time, to combat any loneliness we might feel, we must come to like ourselves, even with all our own faults. With these two in mind, we can both overcome our loneliness and be open enough to accept people, faults and all. Perhaps this does not truly answer your question, but I wished to return some of the optimism you bestowed upon me, back to you. In some ways, we are more connected then ever to other people. True, in some ways we're more distant, but when you and I can have conversations like this, or make other people laugh and smile while never seeing their faces, then I think there is reason to be optimistic. In the end, it's really the only option isn't it? Hope is the only option one can have when thinking of the future or else they will simply collapse in fear. Not a cringe comment at all. She could also just be experiencing a sort of calm melancholy, gazing out at infinite expanses of space. Every time I look at the image, I'm also drawn to the little tree in the pot, this tiny reminder of life on a planet, of a severed connection, which has to be contained and isn't allowed to grow much. Lots of space for melancholy reflection

Had a dream i was floating between the ocean and the stars. A girl a with a flowing Pearlecent, or iridescent, or even prismatic hair color floated down and spoke something softly. Then i woke up still stuck in quarentine, unemployed. But really for now its not so bad. I can listen to this and day dream for a while and remember although things kinda suck right now it will get better again. This is a really nice relaxing mix.
I wish I could be there at this moment. Less madness in the US, less Uni stress, less headaches. It looks so peaceful and unimportant from such a great distance. And I love the simplicity of the room. 😊

Whenever I hear or see a space-themed playlist, or even a video about space in general, I think about how we would go about sharing human music with the outside world.
*the girl and her star* the girl who was afraid to smile went to the rooftop for the first time in a while she watched the clouds pass by and the sun get tired from lighting the sky she sees a star appear so bright, so sincere the ether gets darker and she starts to wonder why is that star the only one in the sky? is it a star? or a plane passing by? it’s not moving, so it must be a star. so still and so perfect, yet so alone all by itself. the girl started talking to the star as bright as her sure it can’t hear her but she likes to think it cares she tells the star about her day about how she’s feeling how she’s doing and tells the star to be there tomorrow for the star is now her hope after that, every pretty evening the girl would climb the roof and would forget she’s aloof for she would talk with the star like it was someone not that far the star became her hope because every night it would shine just as bright as it did the night before one night the girl was crying like she did every now and then she went to the rooftops to talk to her star again as the warm summer breeze had her skirt flow with ease she couldn’t find her star that would help her feel at peace where could it have gone? she started to ask herself was it meant to leave? or did it get tired of me? her mind overflowing with all of her fears her vision of the sky was blurred cus of her tears she wondered what she could’ve done to ever be so wronged feeling like everyone left her including the star she loved but maybe this was meant to happen maybe she was meant to be alone because after all she was always better off on her own.

Im jealous of her for being able to be in such a place, I would literally not mind at all if I have to be stuck there forever, the gloriously evolving and changing scene of the broad space is sure to be an amazing witness as the days passed. It seems lonely but at this point, i'd rather be alone with views like that than to witness the bullshits around me.
To imagine what's beyond our existence is such a magnificent thought process that i can hardly find words to actually describe it. What makes is so amazing though, is the fact that it does have the ability to lift a weight off your shoulders once in a while. If you are one the many souls out there that struggles through life lately, i hereby ask you for permission to grab your hand and take you on an adventure way beyond our superficial world. To a place that exists solely for one reason. The reason being for you to accept, appreciate and ultimately love yourself for what you are. Remember the days when you gazed into the night sky with nothing but admiration. A truly gorgeous sight, with stars and planets doing their utter best to amaze us. One simpy can't help but look at them and feel something that can only be described as magic. And just like you, i also gazed there way too many times until one thing hit me so hard i could no longer pretend to ignore it. A question kept constantly popping up... "Why does society want me to only look at things with amazement, when they are something that is ouside of my reach?". According to that logic i can never truly be "good", because i can always set my aim higher, but wait... what even is "good" to begin with? So we ought to be something we can never truly be? How does that make any sense? That's a contradiction that we choose to live by! If that's is our set of rules, no wonder your poor soul is aching right now. It's no wonder that so many of us are slowly drifting into apathy and depression. How could you not? You are expected to put on a mask and lie to yourself all your life only to appeal to society, but deep inside you know that you will never persuade yourself to truly believe in the act you are playing. It might work for some time, but in the grand scheme of things it's a road to no man's land, so please do yourself the well deserved favor and stop continuing to walk on it. Embrace the fact that everything around is made of the exact same ingredients you are made of. Upon realizing this you will also understand that loving something or someone while not loving yourself is an impossibility, it contradicts itself. When you are pointing at pretty much anything whilst saying "This is what i wanna be like" you are literally pointing at yourself whilst claming to be longing to become something you already were to begin with. Confusing? Yes! That act we tend to do on a daily basis is confusing and - i repeat once again - it makes no sense whatsoever. Give it a long and unbiased thought yourself. You see, because i've learned to accept myself i can now wholeheartedly say that i love you. You are right, it might sound cheesy. But i personally couldn't care any less, because i know it comes from a place deep within, where societies set of rules mean absolutely nothing. Everything about you is unfathomably gorgeous, i'll say it a million times if that's what's needed to make you realize the infinite worth behind your existence. The day you were born something invisible to the naked eye made it's way to every other being on this planet and formed a connection so utterly pure, that no human ever found a way to describe it. All of us are you, and you are all of us. And once again, because i've learned to love myself, it's only natural that i love you aswell. Pat yourself on the back and give yourself a hug, because you - by every defintion of the word - deserve it. Stay humble... and may all your endeavours result in success. Rest assured that i'll be holding on that connection we both share for dear life and i'll never let go.

Goodness, can you imagine seeing that? Waking up and that's your view. I know at this point it's sci-fi and, if it happens, it will be far into the future, but seeing this picture (or pictures), it makes me hope that I get to be reincarnated so I can see things like this. To be part of a world/universe with views like this and all the wonders that come with it. I'm sure there will be challenges in the future, but how can you not be optimistic and even excited at the idea that THIS could be your everyday? The Universe itself outside your window? That's something to smile about.

It's not a question of if, but when. This future is inevitable. Small scale commercial nuclear reactors (the size of a desk) are 2-3 years away. Space X will have a rocket that can carry 100+ people, refuel in space, and land itself within 4 years. A moon/mars colony is likely 10 years away. Assuming continued exponential developments in the field of medicine, the first immortals will probably be born 20 years from now. Robotic prosthetics, sensory enhancement devices and brain-computer interfaces are already being used to treat degenerative diseases, Alzheimer's and sensory impairment. I think we'll start to see regular people using them within 5-10 years.
The humans of the future will not be recognizable as humans to us. They will have different desires, different thoughts, different bodies. They will be super-human, but simultaneously, I fear that they might loose the very things that made them human. Hardships force us to work together to overcome our individual limitations. What will happen when there are no external forces left to struggle against? Our perception of the world is shaped by the physical limitations of our external environment. What happens to communication, meaning, truth; when we can change anything and everything at will? Will we even be able to understand eachother?

Basically, how can we all be happy if we're separate/don't understand each other. The answer: we have to accept that people are different from us, with different desires and fears, but that this doesn't make them bad. At the same time, to combat any loneliness we might feel, we must come to like ourselves, even with all our own faults. With these two in mind, we can both overcome our loneliness and be open enough to accept people, faults and all.
Perhaps this does not truly answer your question, but I wished to return some of the optimism you bestowed upon me, back to you. In some ways, we are more connected then ever to other people. True, in some ways we're more distant, but when you and I can have conversations like this, or make other people laugh and smile while never seeing their faces, then I think there is reason to be optimistic. In the end, it's really the only option isn't it? Hope is the only option one can have when thinking of the future or else they will simply collapse in fear. I just wanna appreciate the image, the fact that, because we can't see her face, we do not know what she is feeling or the situation she is in. She could be missing her home or friends, be isolated and on her own with no way to get to that planet, or arriving there and gazing out in awe at it.

Every time I look at the image, I'm also drawn to the little tree in the pot, this tiny reminder of life on a planet, of a severed connection, which has to be contained and isn't allowed to grow much. Lots of space for melancholy reflection

Had a dream i was floating between the ocean and the stars. A girl a with a flowing Pearlecent, or iridescent, or even prismatic hair color floated down and spoke something softly. Then i woke up still stuck in quarentine, unemployed. But really for now its not so bad. I can listen to this and day dream for a while and remember although things kinda suck right now it will get better again. This is a really nice relaxing mix.
I wish I could be there at this moment. Less madness in the US, less Uni stress, less headaches. It looks so peaceful and unimportant from such a great distance. And I love the simplicity of the room. 😊

To imagine what's beyond our existence is such a magnificent thought process that i can hardly find words to actually describe it. What makes is so amazing though, is the fact that it does have the ability to lift a weight off your shoulders once in a while. If you are one the many souls out there that struggles through life lately, i hereby ask you for permission to grab your hand and take you on an adventure way beyond our superficial world. To a place that exists solely for one reason. The reason being for you to accept, appreciate and ultimately love yourself for what you are. Remember the days when you gazed into the night sky with nothing but admiration. A truly gorgeous sight, with stars and planets doing their utter best to amaze us. One simpy can't help but look at them and feel something that can only be described as magic. And just like you, i also gazed there way too many times until one thing hit me so hard i could no longer pretend to ignore it.
A question kept constantly popping up... "Why does society want me to only look at things with amazement, when they are something that is ouside of my reach?". According to that logic i can never truly be "good", because i can always set my aim higher, but wait... what even is "good" to begin with? So we ought to be something we can never truly be? How does that make any sense? That's a contradiction that we choose to live by! If that's is our set of rules, no wonder your poor soul is aching right now. It's no wonder that so many of us are slowly drifting into apathy and depression. How could you not? You are expected to put on a mask and lie to yourself all your life only to appeal to society, but deep inside you know that you will never persuade yourself to truly believe in the act you are playing. It might work for some time, but in the grand scheme of things it's a road to no man's land, so please do yourself the well deserved favor and stop continuing to walk on it.
Embrace the fact that everything around is made of the exact same ingredients you are made of. Upon realizing this you will also understand that loving something or someone while not loving yourself is an impossibility, it contradicts itself. When you are pointing at pretty much anything whilst saying "This is what i wanna be like" you are literally pointing at yourself whilst claming to be longing to become something you already were to begin with. Confusing? Yes! That act we tend to do on a daily basis is confusing and - i repeat once again - it makes no sense whatsoever. Give it a long and unbiased thought yourself.
You see, because i've learned to accept myself i can now wholeheartedly say that i love you. You are right, it might sound cheesy. But i personally couldn't care any less, because i know it comes from a place deep within, where societies set of rules mean absolutely nothing. Everything about you is unfathomably gorgeous, i'll say it a million times if that's what's needed to make you realize the infinite worth behind your existence. The day you were born something invisible to the naked eye made it's way to every other being on this planet and formed a connection so utterly pure, that no human ever found a way to describe it. All of us are you, and you are all of us. And once again, because i've learned to love myself, it's only natural that i love you aswell. Pat yourself on the back and give yourself a hug, because you - by every defintion of the word - deserve it.
