There was actually a follow up short conversation between NNT and Bryan Caplan, focused on whether it is rational to eat or to walk across the road, given potential risk of poisoning or being run over. But that video was taken down shortly after posting it. If anyone has a link to that video, or to a transcript of that video, please share it here.
