To Dan's point on McDermott, it really seems like he's hit his stride at the right time. He's looked more aggressive in high pressure moments and late in games and the defense has been as stout as ever despite so many injuries. And several of those injuries, let alone all of them combined, would absolutely bust many defenses. He has his faults and I don't think he's suddenly proven every bit of criticism wrong, but it does seem like he's been willing to self-evaluate and adapt in order to put this team in better positions. Go Bills.

Beat KC and everything is a bit different, lose to them and we'll never hear the end of how great The Chiefs and Mahomes are when experts were doubting them and how the Bills will never be at their level. I'm not quite sure how McDermott went from being Marty Schottenheimer to Vince Lombardi in the course of a season, but most fans see him far differently than they did at mid-season. Is this really a different team when it matters most? I guess we're going to find out! I hope that I'm pleasantly shocked by the end of the season or even at day's end on Sunday.
