This was nice, I'm not quite convinced Ciel does want to hurt Astre in the manga. He might want to, but he could also just be insane to the point where he doesn't realize the affect he's having on his twin. As you pointed out here he was raised to be the queens guard dog not a healthy upbringing even pre cult kidnapping. Also most black butler antagonists are complex or have some type of humanity. So I hope Ciel has a purpouse, character ark beyond a new antagonist for Astre to defeat. I personally wonder if Ciel could help Astre or at least knock some sense into him about letting the evil demon consume his soul. I mean everyone thinks Ciel vs Astre but honestly I think Ciel vs Sebastian would be way more interesting. Heck maybe Astre will kill his twin for a possibly non justified reason or get him killed and that will be his final step into total darkness. I'm just saying I hope it goes beyond I have to kill my brother/twin before he destroys everyone I care about, that's been done to death but Yana has done a lot of interesting things with the story so she could go way off book and do something no one thought of with this concept.
I'm presuming that Ciel is just a perfect Bizarre Doll. Remember when (our) Ciel had a (kind of) nightmare about Undertaker dropping liquid or something into his mouth (I can't remember too well), that could maybe symbolise him tampering with the real Ciel. I don't really know, as you said, Yana knows how to shake things up.
I know this is late but I agree with the idea of Ciel being a little insane because as Ciel says in this video, Astre would be taught that if anything were to happen to Ciel, Astre would immediately take his place. That is literally what noble children were taught if your predecessor dies you take their place, plus though it’s hasn’t been 100% proven, it would most likely happen if identical twins are born and the elder twin dies the younger twin would take the other’s identity because unfortunately, if it came down to having a *fake* Ciel or having Astre, who most believed to be sickly and weak, most would take Ciel over Astre. ((I know that this is long and confusing but really I believe that if Ciel were sane he would realize this and would actually act more like the Ciel presented in this video))
I would also like to point out that Lizzy is suspicious of the twin not being ciel, which is why she's missing (my theory). Can you do a video with Elizabeth coming back and real ciel being upset that his brother stole his fiance and his identity? I would love that!!
