    It’s $2999 now for this spec. Would it be worth it at that price? I’m an adobe after effects profesional animator and comper. Would be using it at home 98%of the time as my second work machine.

    Just did a Pros vs Cons vid of this laptop and I totally agree with you, the second screen seems more useful in theory but in practice there are a lot of little faults. The deal breaker for me was the angle of it and the overall heft of the laptop package. The upcoming Zephyrus duo screen has more incline to it with the sliding screen update so that will be interesting to see. Either way i'm glad Asus is implementing on the design, this 2nd gen is already way better than the 1st. Looking forwards to the 3rd or 4th gen. Loved the review by the way Toby, glad it got you through COVID!

      @@corymcdonald3703 I wound up getting the 4k on Amazon and it's great overall. Only issues I've had are little bugs such as the TouchPad turning into a mouse, which it's not supposed to. And automatic updates even when disabled. But you can uninstall them on windows 11.

    As a multitasker who constantly has to use multiple screens for work and have grown accustomed to the extra screen real estate for casual use as well, this laptop is perfect. I used to hate using laptops on the go because I felt so limited in what I could do. I hate having to tab through stuff constantly. I like easy access to multiple apps and this laptop fulfills that need. I don't know if I can go back to a single screen laptop because of the Duo.
    Edit: I wouldn't buy the $5000+ version of it though LOL! I bought one on sale for $1400 (different specs, 16 GB Ram, i7 11th gen processor and nvidia GPU with 1 TB SSD) and it's definitely worth that price.

      @@nobelprizeinmedicine I have it, it's an absolute beast of a machine. Currently playing Dying Light 2 at 1080 with ray tracing on, butter smooth. Also use it to play VR like After The Fall VR on all high, wirelessly stream it to my Quest 2, mirror my VR view on the monitor, have OBS screen record that, all at the same time and I get zero hiccups. Not sure why the reviewer has to put it on all low for Hitman and Halo, that's absolutely ridiculous. I'm getting 60fps in Cyberpunk, all ultra 1080.

      @@UrdnotAkongo Thank you for your reply. I actually bought it as well, and I have the same experience as you. It runs my total war games perfectly at around 60 to 80 fps on 2K resolution. • @bradcruise6291
      @bradcruise6291 Рік тому +1

      The gpu on zephyrus is the real one. The ZenBook 3070 or 3080 is severely handicapped by low power TDP. So a ZenBook 3070 is more like a high power mobile 3060/3050ti. The zephyrus allows the 3070 to achieve closer to max potential. It's a scam to call this card a 3070 when it's been handicapped so much. It's deceptive marketing.
