Fun fact: all of the dragons are girls. During the quest where you have to pick up the Goddess Statue in the forgotten temple, they say “she” for all of the three elemental dragons (this also makes sense if you think about their namesakes being the Golden Goddesses)

So you know, when the gleeoks fly out of "Keese auto-aim range" (AKA when they fly to make their super attack), they all give a way to get super high and shoot him :
Flame gleeok : The giant fireball creates a huge updraft
Frost gleeok : The icicles can be recalled to shoot the eyes
Thunder gleeok : the lightning strikes leave small but powerful updrafts
King gleeok : chaotic combination of all 3
For king gleeoks, I suggest using the thunder gleeok method.
There's too much chaos to properly ride the icicles up and it'll only shoot a smaller fireball as a defensive maneuver once you're up
I just use like a multi shot bow and the Thunder helm or Zant’s helmet

The King Gleeok is TOUGH, even with 17 hearts and almost max stamina, all dungeons beat, and some of the best Zonai fusions you’ve ever seen
Fusing an elemental horn (Gleeok, Lizalfos, or Dragon) to an Eightfold Longblade gives the wind beam an elemental effect.
This makes Gibdos a lot easier to defeat.
Edit: I never knew bombs worked to destroy Gibdo hives!

Also with the muddle buds, they make the wind blade confuse enemies.
If only yigas had access to super glue, they could become so much stronger

Something I noticed with all three elemental outfits is this it paints Link's Nails, For the Ember one LInk has Red, Charged is Yellow, and Frostbite is Blue, I don't know why yet it makes me happy.

I noticed this while I was farming the dragons, (I like to match thw dragons lol) halfway through the camera panned right and I saw that and was flabbergasted. Like where can I get nail polish that glows that well

Physical contact with Link stabilizes them. Or something.

The Weather Attack effects do not increase physical weapon damage. They add an elemental AoE to combo finishers and charge attacks, which increases in size with higher effect levels and has a bonus elemental damage of 5, regardless of level. The Weather Charge set bonus just gives you Quick Charge when active.
They do affect phys damage but the elemental aoe from charged attacks is the set bonus

I love ATLA, but it took me a second to realize what you were doing. It just seemed like a nice, quality themed intro until it got to "everything changed when the Demon King Attacked."

Started watching your videos and love them.
Noticed a few things tho:
- octoroks, just rewind either your weapon (shield / bow doesn't work) and your weapon just straight up kills them (with no durability loss) otherwise rewind their fireballs or let them eat a bomb;
- Ascend works through talus bodies, makes them so much easier haha;
- Constructs: you can just joink off other blocks than the core, eventually it breaks apart (like after 8 or something), makes them 10 times easier.
For the fluxes it's useless because it only works on 2/3 because cube will pound you by the time you take most of them
@@Fr0g91tagree (on the fluxes) but I'm more on "it's no drama just grabbing a non-core block, it still can get him to a state where he falls apart" .. I see a lot of ppl focussing getting the core, which almost get's them killed. I just grab what I can, if it's the core great if it's not it's no drama
@@djmulder yea but if you have the sages then the fluxes will target them and that allows you to get the corr
You should’ve gotten the lightning helmet and use the Earth, bending powers from the Yiga clan place
Fun fact. Multishot bows are very useful for king gleeoks. Use a duplex bow and a strong fusion mat and you can one shot the heads. So only takes three arrows instead of six.
If you're skilled (or use keese eyes) it only takes 1 arrow!
x5 Lynel Bows just make Gleeoks a joke. It's hilarious.
On the blood moon the demon kings gloom bending becomes even more powerful. That’s how he made the 4 nations fall into ruins.

Fun fact, you can only use the divine helm for the entirety of goron city quest, you need 2 level of protection (flamebreak chest/legging) for the dinral prescence.
Technically, would the Yiga's Earthwake technique count as the "Earth" element ?
Yes it would because the ground shoots up and hits the enemy

When I was exploring a cave, I found the frostbite body piece by accident. Thinking it was nothing special, I sold it. Thank god Cece is a thing.
while i did tulin quest (the first sage i got) i found it too and i thought it was cold resistance
One of my main issues with the elemental outfits (ember, charged, and frostbite) is that you can’t really use them unless you have a potion effect active or have one or two pieces replaced with an armour piece from a different set of armour (which means you can’t get their set bonus if you’ve upgraded them) so the only one you can really use is the charged set but then you can’t use any metal weapons, shields, or bows.

Now do a second challenge + Wind element and earthwake (there are rock likes, and wind based weapons, korok fronds + Tulin is a thing.) Wind armor could be Dive armor, and rock armor could be Climbing.
Also light and dark (dazzlefruits, mirrors, muddle buds, etc.), Bc Gibdos also lose to light, neat detail, and muddle buds tricks monsters, like darkness tricks and takes people from light. Light armor would be Mystic armor, and dark armor would be Depths armor.
All of these have at least one side quest, which would make the experience more fun.
This would make absolutely nothing easier, but if you fuse a star fragment to a magic staff, it shoots out little elemental balls of light

No problem! One tip for gleeoks next time: You can actually parry the gleeok beams. Normally it doesnt really work because then the second will just hit you, but you quickly switch shields while parrying to skip the parry animation.
My strategy for fighting gleeoks is to just shoot keese eyes out of a lynel bow as soon as it gets up. I also kill a lot of lynels and have the crazy scimitar of the seven thing, so that really helps. Also, you should do a lynel only challenge run. I saw another youtuber do it and it was quite entertaining. So justin, If you read this, please take that into consideration. Also just wanted to say I love your TotK challenge runs so keep it up! Also have a good day!

I've seen a couple people talking about algorithm boosting and stuff like that, and I think it's potentially because your content is very reminiscent of SmallAnt who very much makes his content style to get traction and take off similarly. Popular game, interesting challenge, quick cuts and quips, overall a style that appeals to people even though the videos themselves are long in comparison to must videos on the platform. That being said, I love SmallAnt so this content is immediately enjoyable for me as well, I hope to see more interesting challenges!

Fire damage
Earth - the secret Earthwake technique that the Yiga Blademasters use, the ascend ability
Air - korok leaves, paraglider use
It might not be a drastically different run on the surface but:
No Zoni devices that can use energy (no energy bending allowed - wings (for example) can be used since they don't actively use an energy cell if a driving stick isn't on them)
The Queen Gibdo fight/dungeon would be interesting without Riju's electricity
Mineru would be completely banned (energy cell usage)
can it be argued that lightning is an extension of fire considering firebenders in avatar can create and conduct it?
@@everfluctuating That's true but I think it depends on how you choose to handle an Avatar-like run like this - do the sage's abilities count as Link's abilities or is Link the only one able to use the elements?
In my mind, none of the sage abilities are Link's to use in an Avatar run - they're the sage's abilities. Even after beating the dungeon, it's the sage spirits that use the abilities (not like in BOTW who is then able to use the iconic abilities himself).
I think being able to use the dragon parts to summon electricity is fair tho 🤔

heh, you did it! But forgot one of the best elemental pieces in thee game (functionality wise) - the Lightning Helm that grants total immunity to lightning. Would have made the lightning Gleeoks so much easier. But I guess you didn't want to bother with the Yiga, since you didn't go for it.
