They are very hiphop based for their Title tracks but do have done a lot of other genres for their bsides. Idk why they aren't that big, they literally have everything from amazing vocalist, rappers and dancers to amazing personalities. Please do more reactions for them 🙏🏾🙏🏾

@@imgonnabeastar23 FNC in particular is not a small company by any means. They were quite big a few years ago due to all the bands. Even Yoo JaeSeok was part of it and he’s one of the biggest MCs/comedians.
But strangely enough idol groups in the company doesn’t get the recognition they deserve :(. Look at KQ, they are more or less a small company (only having block b as their biggest group when the company was seven seasons) and right when Ateez debuted they got so viral. So I don’t know what is it with FNC. I hope P1H gets big soon

I might have used the wrong terminology.
What i meant is that they aren't part of the big 3 (JYP, Sm, YG) and abviously wont get as much recognition especially since they aren't particularly known for Kpop groups but rather Bands...
KQ is a whole other story since a few members of Ateez not only participated in a survival show, but also went viral with their performances.
P1h *did* also go viral on titkok alot (especially Keeho 💖) but sadly not for their music or performance really...
so alot of people just stick around for Entertainment without stanning them or giving their music a chance 😣.
But i think *especially* because piwon has grown such a big international fanbase for their personalities in particular, their growth seems really stable.
i'm happy that i can see them grow more organically and build a strong fandom.
They might really kick it off soon tho since they have a pretty big collab upcoming as ive heard 🎉😭
@@Valariuss long story short. FNC had made lots of management, marketing, supervising, and PR mistakes IN THE PAST that it is so hard for them to regain public and fandom's trust.
They slowly getting better since 2019, but there were always already-debunked scandals happened everytime there was a hope.
They might not having public's trust nor attention, but the goverment and investors continue to trust them.

@@LeeKnow3rdEye no…we can still talk about the lyrics. It has nothing to do with the US. A lot of kpop songs have shallow lyrics that literally make no sense. that’s just that.
I'm wondering if the way lyrics in kpop generally are translated are not also part of why they don't make sense to us sometimes.
Like if I understand well, translating korean can be tricky, a lot of meanings can be lost + it's not unfrequent to see english translations of kpop lyrics being gramatically incorrect.
So my question to people who understand korean is, do these variables have a lot to do with our perception of kpop lyrics or are the lyrics really badly written most of the time ?
Listen to more of their craft, they’re super talented but also super underrated. They have amazing songs on their albums 🤌🏽👏🏽

they have an entire lore (that you can check out in their movie 😋) which explains the cgi and countdown at the end,, also their lyrics are mostly centered around their story (so they do make sense) that's why someone who's not familiar with their cinematic universe wouldn't get it

self-composed groups like bts and twice put a lot of effort and thought into writing good lyrics ++let’s not forget the music is not only being catered to international fans but also korean so 90% of the time the lyrics do and have to make sense…to a certain extent
Yes, alot of times the english parts can also feel abit out of context when you don't read the rest 😂 thats why i rewatch MV's sometimes to focus on the lyrics more

for that question in the beginning, i had a similar situation, but my friend that i sit next to in class moved classes, but my teacher still had her work so i went to give it to her, and when i entered, literally everyone was staring at me and it was so quiet, no one was talking, js staring at me 😭

Yeah I have had that happen to me where everyone stares at you while you walk in late. One time I was late by like 15-30 mins almost every day that week and the kids started telling that there was no point in showing up 😀

Personally, whenever I'm late to class, even if it's just a few minutes, it feels horrible to have everyone staring at me cuz I feel like I'm being judged (which I probs am lol). I'm in vet school so everyone's quite serious about their studies and they're all there like 10 minutes before the beginning of class, even though we often start quite early to me. Idk I care about getting that extra sleep since I've trouble falling asleep after studying for way too long into the night. Oddly enough, I was never late for school when I was in high school, except for one time when I was dancing in my appartment and I basically grated my hand on a piece of wooden furniture right before going to school XD I had to make myself a bandage all alone... Fortunately the teacher was late that day too.

what you said about kpop not having to worry about lyrics making sense is a bit reductive. just like any other genre there are some songs that are very lyrically centered and some that arent. im not gonna say this song is lyrical genius but making a big assumption about all of kpop based off of this one piwon song or what you've heard so far is a bit much
