Very nice explanation, the purpose of the video, the code, the connections were all explained well!! Thank you!! 😊 But the only thing not understood was why 13.51A?
I want to create a system where an led turns on when my wireless charger is in use. I assume the load in this case would be the charger. How do I decide which amp to do with is a get a 10watt charger? This is a hobby project and I’m completely new to electronics. Thanks in advance!
I have followed this schematic and layout for the device, but can't seem to get an accurate reading on the current. I have the 20amp acs712 sensor, with ip+ hooked up to +5v power supply, and ip- hooked to the 5V supply on a part i am trying to measure current on, then ground and 5v from the arduino to the acs712 and A0 is the Vout of the acs712. Am I doing anything wrong, because when I power it with a curve tracer I read 12mA at 5v for the part, but the current sensor (with the code for the 20amp) outputs a value of ~72.1, and this has absolutely no correlation with what I am getting on the curve tracer. Please help!!
🌟 I need a sensor that detects a mAmps current, just detect it, I don't need to measure it, the current is about 20mA, can you advice? Nice video as usual, thank you 👍
Hello, Sir good day! Is it possible to add a gsm arduino shield in the circuit? I want to ma a Open Cicuit Alert System. Basically, I intend to make an alert system that sends a text message if the current ammeter detects 0 current. Is that possible?
I have a big rpm autometer lying around. I would like to hang it at the wall and watch the needle dancing once my amplifier sucks amps to produce a bass.... Would you like to make a video about such a project???
Hi,I am working on a project in which I use ACS712_30A with esp32 but its not working fine (It can't calibrate right power) can You help me with some solution.
I am looking for a simple project using a 5MA/5A current sensor to sense my doorbell current when someone pushes my doorbell button. One of the transformer wires of my doorbell would run through the sensor. Sensor gets connected to a ESP32 DEV board which sends me a alert message.
hello sir.... i am using hall sensor to measure armature current of pwm drived dc motor...but i am getting a pulses of current but i have requirement of analog value...how to fix this problem?
Bought one of these and the output goes lower than the 2.5v idle when current is detected? (Mine does). Thought it would have added to the output -- guess not. Confirm anyone?
Can you write code to make an overcurrent protection? The digital output pin of the Arduino should go high if the AC current value is crossed the predetermined value. I want to make a cheap overcurrent protection circuit for my AC Motor. When a motor is turned ON, it takes around 16Amps starting current for around 5 sec & 6 amps current in normal operation. I will use a CT if required.
@@Aatikslab i'm so confuse why my acs show the wrong calculation about the current, when i tried to measure the current from a lamp, do you know what the trouble from? because i ever move from one pin to another but the measure still wrong. thx
Thanks for sharing the way to stabilize the value.
well explained and funny "ups - tu much current".... :))
Hi. Where does 13.51 (for 5A sensor) come from?
Hi, Could you recommend the above sensor for measuring a current less than 0.9mA from a board? My project is based on Arduino.
Good info, well done, thanks for sharing it with us :)

What is maximum limit of voltage of the end points where the sensor is connected ?
thanks for such a simple and easy code

Can you make diy 4s 18650 charging circuit for irobot vacuum cleaner? believe it would be great rating rating ceiling
How can I write the current value on the LCD screen?
hi, why i try using this code the value of current is so high? i am using 20 A Acs 712
Same for me.. How did u rectify it?
The min resultin resolution it can report is 20A / 1024
= .020 A
= 20 mA

We can check three phase motor amp 415 volt or 15 amp which sensor used
Will this code work for AC Current or just DC current
Only for DC
@@Aatikslab Could you please share the code for AC current

Code file is not support to app
i keep getting 18.77 amps even i don't connect the source in the module
Hi, Can I check AC current with it instead of DC?
this beatiful
can acs712 measure voltage and current?

Thank You. Can I connect two sensors to the aurdino board shown in the video. I am a layman.
yes you can connect upto 8 sensors to arduino`s analog pins ranging from A0 to A7

Plz make voice control home apliance
There's basically no coding required for this device.
