People also confuse vocal layering and echo filter as auto tune too, which it’s clearly not 😁 there may be auto tune on Blackout, I’m not sure but that’s the whole point, when used right, auto tune is not noticeable as it’s a discrete way of fixing errors, not creating a sound or making someone who can’t sing, suddenly sound amazing, etc. Auto tune is used by some artists eg: T Pain using extreme settings to create a robot effect but Blackout producers said they played with a melodyne, talk box (“It’s Britney Bi*ch”) and echo on Blackout. Thanks to the one who lealed the whole demos before the album got released. She had to reworked most of the songs like this one, Heaven on Earth, Toy Soldier etc
This is just the demo version.. I'm an audio engineer and I can tell you 100% that her vocals here have been edited and clipped. Basically she recorded the song a bunch of times and the engineer chose the best takes and clipped them all together. Once that is done they put all the notes where they belong not with autotune but with other programs like (waves tune) to make sure everything is on the right key. They add auto-tune in the end to get that "perfect" sound so all the vocals are flawless.

How do you know it's not autotuned? Just cause it doesn't have those bumps doesn't mean it's not autotuned. The bump is created either when the singer is singing really out of pitch, or when the producer chooses to turn the autotune way up to get the bump effect on purpose. The autotune is in a LOT of songs you that you would never be able to tell.
