Lia’s dancing here is outstanding. You cannot see that she is different with the rest who are more skillful in terms of dancing👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 same power, same energy and intensity.
I like Lia's dancing, but it is still noticeable that she still has room to grow. I think she just needs to work on putting a little bit more power and energy to her movements. I think she is dancing carefully due to the complaints about her dancing and that may be restraining her from putting more oomph to her movements. She is still decent at dancing and has improved. She is the Main Vocal and not dance line. Not every idol is going to be phenomenal at dancing. Lia does well enough as a dancer and I love that she usually keeps a smile on her face no matter what! Give her some time. She will get better!

Yeah! Great improvement but she need to go out in her shell. I bet, she can be in the same lvl with the 4 members if she will not hesitate to move. Her extensions or emphasizing the moves. I wish she will gain more confidence and not overthink that she can never dance like the other 4 members coz that will stop her from progressing. She need to free her mind while dancing so that her body will follow.
Xyhia Kyne i think she’s really trying not to. I feel like she knows that. We shouldnt tell her what to do when we dont actually know. Yes she compares herself to the other members, but when you’re dancing with them you have you change your mindset, and usually it can easily be changed. She seems to be more confident, not saying she is, but it looks like it. That might mean she’s trying her hardest to free herself from that comparing. Let’s cheer her on instead! That would help a lot.

My main bias is chaeryeong cuz she makes the dance flawless and easy to look at. My second bias is yeji cuz she makes the dance looks sharp and awesome to look at My bias' are main dancers and even though they have different styles they're both rocking it. 💖💖
i can't keep my eyes off of chaeryeong, she dances just *so* well and her moves are very clean and powerful. also, lia improved A LOT, i'm so proud of her.
Lia is incredible, and I’m not accepting any criticism. her biggest weakness is that she doesn’t have a clear understanding HOW to execute some moves: she can learn the dance, but is yet to learn what muscle to use to get this or that, and it comes with practice, since Lia isn’t exactly naturally gifted in dancing, which is absolutely fine, because she’s gifted with an amazing voice to cover for it! I have no doubt, Lia will soon improve even more. 💜 of course it’s harder for her than for chae, yeji and ryujin ‘cause they are mindblowingly talented + have some great experience and yuna is a natural in everything she does and a fast learner for sure. Lia is already great, she just needs a bit more time to become an unstoppable dance force alongside her members 💜
I agree but I don't think it's that's she's "not naturally gifted" but rest of girls has dance positions and they were trained to dance A LOT while she wasn't prepared to dancing as much as them. I think they're all naturally gifted, talented and progressing all the time, but Lia just doesn't have the same opportunity to learn dance as Yeji Chaer Ryu and Yuna but I think in like year there won't be any visible difference between them, because Lia is improving her dance very quick

One of the choreographers of this CB also choreographs BP’s How You Like That. I really like his choreography, he also co-choreographed Twice’s fanfare and More & More, Somi’s What you waiting for and NiziU’s Make you Happy.
Filtrations YG dancers made the dance break of More & More and Kiel one of BlackPink main choreographer participated in the making of this choreography. You can also see that BP Demo choreographies are harder. It’s just YGE who change everything
Chaeryoung gave 200% and it shows for real. I thought yeji was a better dancer than Chae but Chaeryoung is getting better and better every comeback. She is getting more confident.
Just watch her elbows at 1:04 to 1:10. and then look at everyone else's. She's not just on the beat - her moves in between the beats are in the right places on the 8th and 16th notes. Her sister does the same thing as well as Lisa. not many people perform at that level.
She’s never been lazy, she admits that she’s not as strong as a dancer as her other members. She “looks” or seems lazy when she dances but she actually just has a very feminine style of dancing. Whilst the others have more of a powerful style. Her movements aren’t as big but she’s definitely improved and not lazy at all.

It was never lazy. She just trained for a short time and was behind other members even though she was a decent dancer since ITZY is a group where every member can be main dancer of another group. I really feel like she improved both her dancing and vocals. She even improved her visuals and confidence somehow.
I learned the wannabe dance and the chorus of icy and Dalla Dalla, but I'm definitely *not* going to learn that one. Idk about y'all but I personally want to keep my bones and muscles, if possible, even working👁️👄👁️
In terms of dance choreos, itzy will always be my fave. Not to mention that all their choreos were lit af and the synchronization? Oh well, ngl but Itzy is the best!

i’ve grown to respect lia a LOT. i used to not be so fond of her because the other members’s skills in dance, rap and even vocal stood out to me more and i felt like she needed more dance training before she debuted. i still stand by my opinion that she should’ve had a little more training, however, hear me out. the reason i say this is because it’s very difficult for her sometimes and her stamina runs out in some performances. she has to work twice as hard to keep up and it has taken a toll on her body and her mental health. i just really wanted her to be healthy and happy. BUT- she might not be the best dancer in ITZY but you can tell she works SO HARD to keep up with the others and from wannabe to now, as a dancer myself i’ve noticed SO MANY improvements, even more than from icy to wannabe. especially the vocals matched with the choreo that make both x10 harder to execute this comeback, she’s doing wonderfully, and the stage practice, dance practice and the live stages showed that. i’m betting that in a few years she’ll be just as good as the others and depending on how it goes, she can even become better (ex. hyunjin from stray kids, taehyung from bts, etc.) i am so proud that she’s a part of ITZY, the hate she used to (and still) receives makes no sense to me when it’s CLEAR how hard she’s working (i never gave her hate, dw). she has grown on me so much and tbh because of her and the other members idk how i even have a bias in this group anymore. just seeing lia nowadays brightens my mood because I know how hard it’s been on her and how well she’s taken everything. stan a strong, strong, girl.

Jyp scouted her for her vocals and she was mainly trained in that field instead of everything else. She didn't get as much time to practice dance than the other members but you can tell that she is definitely trying her best which is why I don't understand why people say she's lazy. She just needs more practice and I also feel like they should have waited a bit more for her before debuting her if they knew she wasn't strong in dancing, especially since they literally threw her in a dance orientated group
Jordan Randell yes, they should’ve definitely waited to debut Itzy at least a year or two, especially since stray kids debuted in 2018 and needed more time to be jyp’s focus because they’re still rookies

Lia is incredible, and I’m not accepting any criticism. her biggest weakness is that she doesn’t have a clear understanding HOW to execute some moves: she can learn the dance, but is yet to learn what muscle to use to get this or that, and it comes with practice, since Lia isn’t exactly naturally gifted in dancing, which is absolutely fine, because she’s gifted with an amazing voice to cover for it! I have no doubt, Lia will soon improve even more. 💜 of course it’s harder for her than for chae, yeji and ryujin ‘cause they are mindblowingly talented + have some great experience and yuna is a natural in everything she does and a fast learner for sure.
Lia is already great, she just needs a bit more time to become an unstoppable dance force alongside her members 💜
I agree but I don't think it's that's she's "not naturally gifted" but rest of girls has dance positions and they were trained to dance A LOT while she wasn't prepared to dancing as much as them. I think they're all naturally gifted, talented and progressing all the time, but Lia just doesn't have the same opportunity to learn dance as Yeji Chaer Ryu and Yuna but I think in like year there won't be any visible difference between them, because Lia is improving her dance very quick

Chaeryoung gave 200% and it shows for real. I thought yeji was a better dancer than Chae but Chaeryoung is getting better and better every comeback. She is getting more confident.
Just watch her elbows at 1:04 to 1:10. and then look at everyone else's. She's not just on the beat - her moves in between the beats are in the right places on the 8th and 16th notes. Her sister does the same thing as well as Lisa. not many people perform at that level.

After this era I DARE ANYONE to say that Lia’s dancing is “lazy”, she has improved soo much and clearly her era

She’s never been lazy, she admits that she’s not as strong as a dancer as her other members. She “looks” or seems lazy when she dances but she actually just has a very feminine style of dancing. Whilst the others have more of a powerful style. Her movements aren’t as big but she’s definitely improved and not lazy at all.
ITZY's choreos are pretty difficult even for other groups, i'll never understand how anyone can call her "lazy"

It was never lazy. She just trained for a short time and was behind other members even though she was a decent dancer since ITZY is a group where every member can be main dancer of another group. I really feel like she improved both her dancing and vocals. She even improved her visuals and confidence somehow.

i’ve grown to respect lia a LOT. i used to not be so fond of her because the other members’s skills in dance, rap and even vocal stood out to me more and i felt like she needed more dance training before she debuted. i still stand by my opinion that she should’ve had a little more training, however, hear me out. the reason i say this is because it’s very difficult for her sometimes and her stamina runs out in some performances. she has to work twice as hard to keep up and it has taken a toll on her body and her mental health. i just really wanted her to be healthy and happy. BUT- she might not be the best dancer in ITZY but you can tell she works SO HARD to keep up with the others and from wannabe to now, as a dancer myself i’ve noticed SO MANY improvements, even more than from icy to wannabe. especially the vocals matched with the choreo that make both x10 harder to execute this comeback, she’s doing wonderfully, and the stage practice, dance practice and the live stages showed that. i’m betting that in a few years she’ll be just as good as the others and depending on how it goes, she can even become better (ex. hyunjin from stray kids, taehyung from bts, etc.) i am so proud that she’s a part of ITZY, the hate she used to (and still) receives makes no sense to me when it’s CLEAR how hard she’s working (i never gave her hate, dw). she has grown on me so much and tbh because of her and the other members idk how i even have a bias in this group anymore. just seeing lia nowadays brightens my mood because I know how hard it’s been on her and how well she’s taken everything. stan a strong, strong, girl.

Jyp scouted her for her vocals and she was mainly trained in that field instead of everything else. She didn't get as much time to practice dance than the other members but you can tell that she is definitely trying her best which is why I don't understand why people say she's lazy. She just needs more practice and I also feel like they should have waited a bit more for her before debuting her if they knew she wasn't strong in dancing, especially since they literally threw her in a dance orientated group
