To be fair both of the movies are very good to be non-action movies
I don’t think a minecraft movie has to be much of an action movie. If it turns out bad I’m blaming warner bros for their interference with Jared Hess’ vision. I don’t want people to see Jared as a shitty director just because of this. Nacho Libre and Napoleon Dynamite are masterpieces. 90% of the people who disagree, haven’t seen them.

Napoleon dynamite is amazing but I don’t know if he’ll be able to do a probably more action based movie but then again I don’t know any of his other works but I do hope he’s able to do it and do it well

I live in New Zealand, where the filming for the movie is taking place, and a couple of months ago, I had a glimpse inside a massive filming studio where there were these massive minecraft blocky esc structures inside, and I assuned that they were starting to make the sets for the minecraft movie, I have photos and documentations of it all on my Twitter account.

This is one of the types of movies i would prefer to be an animated film.
Minecraft is all about blocks, you can’t do that in live-action.
Regardless of the quality of the film, I know I’ll compare it too much to Minecraft Story Mode. 😆

Macho Libra was very funny and was definitely a comedy, but it had some action
the more i learn about the minecraft movie the more unsure i am about how i feel
You can’t go wrong with Jared Hess even with the whole non-action problem. The best part of Minecraft is just hanging around and building anyway

I've actually seen a few different plots for the movie one being something related to fighting the Ender Dragon, one related to Minecraft Dungeons and Legends, and another based off Minecraft: Story Mode

Hell yes. This movie is gonna be awesome. Jason Momoa as Steve seems like the perfect fit as according to the Minecraft wiki, Steve is 6'6" with 6" thick arms.
