Check out my GARLIC CALCULATOR to help you figure out how much garlic you need NOW to have enough to eat and replant next year:

Stick with it. I have similar issues with the algorithm picking up my content. I almost gave up a few years ago and then suddenly my videos started popping up for people. Love your homestead!

Your compost bins look great. Just to let you know that you can save yourself a lot of work by not turning the compost from one bin to another. I have the same setup and I used to turn them but it was back breaking work. Now I fill the first bin in year 1, and then let it compost till year 3. In year 2 I fill the next bin and let it compost till year 4. In year 3 after I have filled the last bin, I dig out the first. Because I don't chop my garden refuse, the larger pieces may not be completely composted so I throw them on top of bin 2 to cook for another year. It has saved me a lot of work and most of the compost cooks just as fast.

When you plant, lay all your cloves out on the soil where you think you will plant and then just look at them. Move some closer or farther from each other. Sight down the rows and make them straight. Get them where you think they should go, because it is easy to make adjustments now. Then plant them where they are. No strings, no guessing.

Is there a reason you put it in the raised beds instead of the food forest? Just wondering. Thanks for the video!

Great question. I tend to plant a few cloves in the food forest, too, just to diversify the planting. The food forest has Egyptian walking onions and some Sicilian honey garlic planted that are perenialized. The main reason I plant my culinary garlic in the raised bed is to make it easier to cover it with insect netting to keep the leek moths out! They're a real pest here.
