@@NSJmakesMusic im not very good as well but, i have a few tips, white noise fills extra frequencies in your leads, chords, etc. Automate your reverb when the lead doesnt play to fill space. Make the leads, chords, and bass one of the main elements for the track. This can vary depending on the genre your going for however. Hope this helps.
