By the way, future house basses are also pretty interesting. I have tried many things but can't seem to get that soft kind of sound they have. Maybe you should try making one.
Alright i'll try to mess with some presets from youtube videos. I understand basicly all the presets in harmor so i hope i can learn more from the tut vids. Thank you bro!
Also THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for explaining how your Envelope Controller graphs are automating the different parameters of your patch and how the effects and eqs are shaping the sound
I would say future bass is more synth-based than anything. But the genre varies a lot. I'm thinking of Wave Racer and people inspired by that music (ie Grant Bowtie on monstercat)
In regards to the comment about future/ (deep?) house, it often uses percussive, rhythmic pluck-y basses, like you had in the second bar and the latter half of the fourth bar. It would be cool to hear your take on that stuff
Nice sound! But you should put the plugins to the top left corner if you open it. its always out of the screen on my 21" screen! Keep on the good work!
Hey Seamless bb, do you ever not know what bass to make a tutorial on? I mean your 75ks are pretty much How to Basses and your Tracks From Scratch are as well since we see you do it the entire process...
I really like these tutorials! I'm in love with the Zomboy - Ghost remix bass sound but I dont know what the sound is called :D if you can help me I would be glad :)
therealquade Both are comb filters. Simply put a signal is delayed and mixed with itself. Phaser mixes in the delayed signal after the delay input. Whereas flanger mixes it in before the input creating a feedback loop.
Wolf Beyond okay, so why is a comb filter a different thing. also how do you reliably use a phaser or comb filter, to have note-accurate kb-tracking? (slightly unrelated, trying to create metallic sounds)
What I've learned is take almost any basic synthesized bass sound and add distortion to make it sound cool then band sweep to make what could be considered a professional "bass"

+WHOCARES. The presets are horrible most of the time
Are you saying that i need to use presets of harmor? Or find sounds on youtube where people show you how to much a future house kind of bass?
Alright i'll try to mess with some presets from youtube videos. I understand basicly all the presets in harmor so i hope i can learn more from the tut vids. Thank you bro!
ah i get it. :)
LOL, I'm here 3 years later
Also THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for explaining how your Envelope Controller graphs are automating the different parameters of your patch and how the effects and eqs are shaping the sound
I want to thank you seamless for doing stuffs like this and sharing your knowledge with us.Keep it up and cheers from Croatia ;)
I still don't know what future bass is. I have no idea how this sound applies to future bass ;p
+SeamlessR ok

It's essentially happy chill trap but less obvious of its trap tendencies
SeamlessR I make future bass :)
Sir, your sound design is truely amazing!
You definitely need to make more tracks so we could see your sound design being used.
This is quite the classic sound, a lot of early dubstep wobbles sounded similar to this.
nice
Sick.
To really create a unique future bass sound it requires a lot of processing that I would have never considered if you did not show me Seamless.
Nice sound! But you should put the plugins to the top left corner if you open it. its always out of the screen on my 21" screen!
Keep on the good work!
Dope sound
very similar to the main bass of rock the party by jauz and ephwurd. Big current future house track :D
Original Brodub De Huge track, great song! (right on with the bass)
how do you do?
feeling gr8 m8
van you make the sound from burning - daft punk. from that bass? or is that an another sound

How did u modulate all those parameters with just one automation clip?
can you explain the difference between a phaser, and a flanger?

+SeamlessR I don't think it does; future bass, despite the name, is not bass-heavy, except for the sub. It's mostly based of synths or leads.
This sound like a hybrid of a Noisia and future bass sound XD
seamless... I haven't updated to 12 yet and I won't be able to for another month. can you save this session in 11. cause. it won't open .
+jose rodriguez
never mind I got it😉 great info on your videos 👍 but I'm confused about the automation vs the envelope on the x ?
+jose rodriguez
I see you automated the x. then what is the envelope to x doing ?
That bass is sexy as hell. GOD DAMN
I just now noticed that your intro is gone :o
I dont hear future bass in this, i get some nasty oldschool wubs, Dj Hazard or something
How to BASS!
Jauz must hate you now :P
This could (unfortunately because the genre is dumb imo) be used for riddim
Riddim is good in a club setting.
