- I love to use eucalyptus in my home decor and today I'm answering all the questions I get asked about eucalyptus decor including where to get it, the different kinds of eucalyptus to use, why the colours look different and how it dries. I'm talking silver dollar eucalyptus, true blue eucalyptus, seeded eucalyptus, willow eucalyptus, and preserved eucalyptus.

By now, you've probably seen sprigs of eucalyptus used for modern home decor. But where can you buy eucalyptus? Should you use fresh eucalyptus? Preserved Eucalyptus? Or should you dry it yourself?
I'm sharing the answers to these and some other questions that I get asked about using eucalyptus as greenery for home decor. These beautiful cuts add texture and interest to any space, are perfect in a bouquet of eucalyptus or with a small single stem in a small vase.

I live in LA. Tons of eucalyptus trees. My neighbor just trimmer her tree. I biked over and got enough to make 4 very bushy bouquets. It's actually a little harder to get the one you say is most common. The rarest one with the pointy leaves is everywhere. I have the silver dollar ones this time!

I collected a few small twigs of eucalyptus & placed them in my bed room in water, they look great, the whole house smells great, I recomend - please do try it, then I checked out your clip, loved the way you presented & the info.. Bring the out doors indoors

I live in Australia and there are so many willow eucalyptus trees. It really hard to find any other ones than that one. We can also just walk out and pick a branch from a tree instead of buying them

If you remove the seed pods you will likely have the plant last longer. it takes a lot of engery from the plant to produce a seed .
