Awesome work, I've learned so much about fish, water etc watching your channel. Awesome footage, cute fry 😊 the ending is a good laugh, never a dull moment in your world of fish 🐟🐟🐟
Dear Gil: As I’m into aquascaping, I stick with peaceful species, which do no damage to plants and like my, hard, alkaline water; such as Neocaridina davidi and Poecilia wingei. It’s nice to see someone have super-terrific success, with an aggressive, lovely species, which would not do well, in Ohio River water. I noticed you even have some, live plants in that tank. I’m very impressed, with your fish room, set-up, breeding project and cinematography. Keep up your, amazing hobby and share it, with us, on UA-cam. All my best, Sincerely, E. J. Brinegar
Oh the cloud of babies is so cute! 😍 She really learned fast not to eat the eggs. Really cool to see mom and dad both taking care of them and great footage of the fry after eating, too. I really enjoyed this. Hope you're having a nice weekend, Gil! 🙂👍
They are young....and I think the guitar playing through them off.... Gil's Sex Ed class Excellent footage my friend. Full view as always. Lol you used the ending of Ferris Buellers Day Off .. 👍 Any sign of the mug yet? It said it could take up to 12 weeks

The Fish look amazing and babys same. You did no tell us about nitrates on the water, how much maximum need to be please? For breeding and keeping geophagus. I bought 3 of them, and they died in 3 weeks. My ph was 7.5, nitrates 30ppm, amonia 0 and themperature 27celcius
Being South American, the do prefer softer, slightly acidic water. Although these days if they are bred in captivity that is not so important. My nitrates usually max out at 40ppm.
