Absolutely brilliant dancing! I love that Torvill and Dean are always game to push the boundaries of performance and technology! I love the use of the drone in this. Wonderful work, and a great way to entertain a live audience watching on television as well as those watching in person - after all entertainment is the whole point of this.
I don’t see what all the fuss is about or why they apologized- it was beautiful, artful and skillful. The drone was new and cool and they weren’t flying the thing - their skating was flawless!
@@SabraCatracha not even considering that. There’s no other ice dancers so fresh and so clean as them. They ARE ice dance and that’s it. They could take that to world pros and win just on technical alone.
Love Torvill and Dean. They are the very best and am amazed that they're still going in their 60s. Hope they stay skating. As a person who badly suffers from motion sickness, it is nauseating. Other than that, if it spun round less, it could work OK. As it is it was a bit much even if you ignore the motion sickness issue.
It is very clever use of a drone. The two skate flawlessly as they always have, however you can see that the movement is no longer complex and the skating is much slower. The drone enhances the simpler performance. I like it a lot.
@@triarb5790 true that they skate slower than before. Chris calls it age appropriate skating :) I understand how those that don't have motion sickness may enjoy it. Not my cup of tea though.
I'm 68 and I think this was an interesting experiment.. A few problems but I'm sure the people working the drone etc will work it out. Great dance by the fab duo.
Fab, if you hadn't been told it was a drone you would never have guessed. Those people moaning must be very sensitive so should really think about not watching TV, as I doubt they can cope with car chases or walking interviews or following someone running. We need more like this.
The drone filming was not quite as jarring as the complaints made it to be. Nice performance from Torvill and Dean, although they appeared as miniatures in some of the footage. Probably the director and producers experimenting with the doi camera work.
I guess the people complaining don’t remember stuff like the Face the Music tour DVD that played with lots of crane shots that covered the ice in a similar way, and probably a lot more dangerous for them to work with. I seriously hope they didn’t actually have to apologize!
I hate rollercoasters or computer graphics with lots of motion and I mean really feel rough with them but I was fine watching this. I found keeping my focus completely on Torvill and Dean I didnt notice the drone motion so much ad I think that probably helped. I have always loved Torvill and Dean, not only for their amzing skating for the fact they have become such ambassadors for the sport and for their country. Never get fed up of watching them
I know this is a bit of a thing to say, but I hope i go before either of them do. It will be too sad a day when they leave. There should be way they could stay young and fit enough to go on forever if they wanted to. Same goes for a tiny few other ultra and uniquely talented people in the arts over the years. They are such gifts to us ❤️
I always love watching Torvill and Dean. They are so beautiful, but the drone took away the enjoyment of what they do. Maybe if it was a steady follow on the ice instead of whizzing around it would've captured their performance better.
That’s exactly why I put a Thumbs down. Even Dancing with the Stars added that shaky cam stuff. I used to be a Semi Pro Ice Dancer. That Drone will not let me see extensions, or anything.
I agree, I don't get motion sick but some of that drone footage definitely messed with me a bit! Trying to be too fancy - just stick to showing us the skating ITV...
@@Lioness99a 100%. I’m the same but I genuinely have tried to rewatch it on UA-cam and I just can’t. I had to look away from the tv last night. Really ruined the whole dance and aesthetic. It’s T&D. They don’t need anything fancy to make their performance better. They are amazing.
Yes, totally agree Andrew. Do the ITV know the importance of the choice of music they play can affect people's lives? Because of Anna's hope, Karina, Newton, and this song, some people have their houses broken into and food poisoned, and damage to their property, due to the implying of someone being high on drugs, like the Beatles were when writing this song? I think the ITV need to take more responsibility for their actions and choice of music. Why put the blame on an innocent person when it's the foster families own life choices???? The media have a huge influence on people and their perceptions. They need to be more aware and respectful and responsible. People can get slaughtered because of their media campaigns.

Not to take anything away from Janye or Chris,.. their performance was brilliant, but the drone.... OMG,... I feel ill with seasickness from watching it and I don't get seasickness!!!! Terrible decision from the producers!!
These guys in their 60s are just amazing just goes to show if you keep yourself fit how strong your body can be in more mature years
I never get tired of watching these two skate, their amazing

Loved this. Great seeing Jayne and Chris skate again. Can't wait for the next one ⛸️❤️

Well considering they are both in their mid 60s, it's pretty impressive!

Why is it not Sir Chris & Dame Jayne. If anybody deserves it then it's these 2 legends.
Yes it astonishing what a shame
I absolutely loved the drone shot!! Fantastic!!
I really enjoyed this, seeing them skate in the drone view and how amazing it going between their leg - well done BBC
sorry I meant ITV

Yes. Less spinning camera would work
Loved the performance as always , must admit thou did feel a bit sick with drone but still loved them

IGNORE THE HATE FROM THE OLD FARTS. THIS IS AMAZING. People will complain to of ok for anything these days.
Classic Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds sung by randomer.....jeeeeeezzzz
Благодарю Вас за Видео Чудесное и Танец Шедевр Супер. Огромное спасибо Вам.
Love them since my choldhood
I had no problems watching them through the drone. I do not however like it because it makes it harder to see some parts
1. Jayne and Chris I love you 2. Drone work was trippy, but better to just have Jordan Cowan film it
.
Absolute sickness watching that! The drone ruined it all! So well done ITV again for another shambles! You never learn!!!

Это удивительно! Память интересная штука, 37 лет прошло а помнится все. Такие люди делают историю мирового спорта.
Interesting to see them filmed this way.. I'm going to hate it when they decide on permanent retirement from the ice.
Dancing great. Drone Horrid. Felt sick watching them skate. They Do Not need any fancy drones etc etc for their skating. Just each other.
What is this show?? And these 2 have got to be about late 60 yrs of age!!
dancing on ice ! jayne is 64 & chris is 63 :)

Love Chris and Jayne but didn't like this 'drone' dance, I think it actually spoilt the dance,
Why didn't they just let them skate and skip all the tilting...lighting...special effects? The visual technology totally ruined the performance!!
Omg seriously… This is the performance that people have a problem with? Only problem I see is jealousy!
Love them, not the drone much
hey-super! epic .see you onm y side. =))

The constant fake clapping and cheers was irratating. Just wanted to enjoy the talent.
