In game, white pikmin don't release poison gas (I can see why they made them do it here of course), but they are immune to it, and cause poison damage to anything that eats them. In the original game, they can't be thrown farther, that's yellow pikmin, white pikmin do move faster through the air though, run faster, and carry things more quickly. While here they just do a bit of extra damage, purple pikmin in-game had the ability to home in on enemies in the air, damage them on impact, and stun them. On top of being heavy lifters, their only weakness was their slowness. You could easily stunlock nearly every boss and win in seconds with just 10 or so. They were so overpowered in pikmin 2 that pikmin 3 nerfed them into oblivion. Also I think this mod is super dead, it occasionally gets rewritten, but nothing is ever added to it, the bulborb is just as broken as it was 5 years ago.

I remember watching some random Pikmin videos on UA-cam and a recommended video appeared with the Pikmin mod. If you dislike time limits then play Pikmin 2, unless you like to play games in orders. Pikmin 1 is pretty limited, ugly and the movements are sluggish, the music isn't interactive (doesn't change based on what you're doing or who you are, etc)

Pikmin can be turned into puffmin by an enemy called the puffstool, an enemy that is only in the navel forest (the 3rd level on pikmin 1). The puffstool turns your pikmin into puffmin by spraying a purple mist thing from its spores turning pikmin who are attacking the puffstool into puffmin. Oh and a little thing about winged pikmin is that they can cheese puzzles and are useful for some skips if speedrunning pikmin 3. Anyways this comment was amazing on telling people who aren't familiar with pikmin stuff about the pikmin types and such , I just wanted to make some stuff clear.
@@stockimageofanengineer thanks for the more clear info, because some things I forgot...or well...didn't think were bold enough to mention, such as puffstool...but I will say that I get the merging of the onions in pikmin 3, but at the same time it was kind of pointless, also yeah Winged pikmin, can pretty much be known as very OP if used correct, I still find the fact that Purple Pikmin aren't the strongest, yet are the pikmin type you will main in attacking in pikmin 2, but then pikmin 3 came along and made them useless, I don't think they can even stun anymore
will also say the blue pikmin being the best despite having one ability thing is funny...they can save other pikmin, but otherwise...whats their other abilities?
@@RABBIDFF also yeah i think they cant stun anymore (or its just very rare to happen idk i dont play pikmin 3 mission mode alot) they are good for early game transporting tho. They also do little amount of damage, its sad to see the chonky boys get slayed by the merciless nerf gods but its for the better.

I'm not a big fan of Pikmin, but Pikmin is cool. Also I like how you make Odessa sound like Heavy from TF2.
For electricity based damage in the Source Engine, maybe the roller mines or the vortiguant shock.
Fact: Although White and Purple Pikmin came out before Rock and Winged Pikmin, White and Purple Pikmin waited for Pikmin 4 to be canon to the series
