I'm Gujarati, but the hype for this movie is unmatchable. Can't forget a single frame of ulidavaru kandante (watched in Kannada, understood with English subtitles)

Actually multiple dialects of kannada are used in this movie , even subtitles could not do justice to few amazing dialogues as there were such intricacies in it. Even some native kannada speakers couldn't understand few words,lingos and jokes which were specific to Mangalore, Udupi and Kundapur . This is what makes it so authentic. The lyrics to songs in the movie are pure poetry. Only somebody who is from or stayed in Dakshina kannada for a while can fully appreciate the beauty of the details in it.
This guy Rakshith is going places with the kind of subjects he chooses and moreover he is trying to bring the lost glory of 60s and 70s of namma sandalwood where lot of prominence was given to story writing or scripts and screenplay and not to mention novels. We are lucky to have him in our own backyard. Keep hustling brother... 👏👏👏
