I like Tiny Rebel beers but hesitant around drinking a beer that tastes like a jam donut. There's a Pub I'm going to in Bristol that has it on draught. I might give it a go following this review.
Belma hops have a real raspberry jam vibe paired with Mosaic and others I'm not surprised it smells like haribo. I'm assuming they mashed high to leave some sugars too Sounds brill, cheers.
I had one of these about 6 weeks ago from The house of the Trembling Madness beer cellar, thought it was really nice, jammy flavours, could taste the malts as well so it was a thumbs up from me, wouldn't of had more than 2-3 cans though, very nice but almost a novelty beer?? just my 2 pence worth...
Interesting .. I love the tiny brewery range and my favourite up until now has been Pineapple Express .. that was just for me amazing. I shall have to check try this one it sounds good and very interesting.. did it taste like donut at all?
I had this and had your same thoughts! I don’t know how they’ve done it without adjuncts. Wish I had another can of it right now. Would it have been a beer to try with a donut? 😀
I was very surprised at how pleasant this beer was, especially considering how strong the Raspberry/Strawberry aromas were. Whilst the first mouthful was a tad sickly sweet, I did find myself wanting more by the time I had the last mouthful
@@Ovalblade1 Its a great beer. honestly if I'm drinking 4-5 cans i always include one of these. I'm not a fan of many TR cans - i like clwb tropica on hot day, cali pale is okay but shake down, peaches and cream and pineapple Express are too gassy and/or fruity imv. but this beer just works perfectly out of the can.
I had a can of this in a Beer 52 box some time ago. I thought it was disgusting. Overly sweet and cloyingly sickly. We're losing sight of what a beer is.
It must be hard giving honest reviews of beers from local breweries that you were probably sent for free. I think I'd give everything 10/10 even if I hated them.
2:34 is the most genuine reaction I think I’ve seen a human ever have to anything
Nice tshirt with Pinta Brewery on it! Great😁👍
I want a jam doughnut now!
I love this beer its delicious.
anyone remember that song , pump up the bitter by star turn on 45 pints ?

Its nice on tap, i asked the head brewer about the flavouring and he said they used raspberry puree, and rested the mash to get it doughy
Pure info love it
Love your beer reviews man! i work in Morrisons in Port Talbot so tell me if you want me to keep an eye out for any new craft beer haha

Tiny rebel thinking outside the box is why they are one of my favourite breweries! But this one isn’t for me
When did you change your views on flavourings Simon? You used to go on rants when beers added flavourings.
IS THIS YOUR FULL TME JOB ?

Pretty much spot on - had the same experience! First mouthful was.... a little much, by the end you "get it"

Well, I think you’re sweet 🥰🥰
I'd have put money on you not liking that.

Why would you do that?
