@@modified_mercs cool man I'm in the process of swapping my c200 engine for a c230k engine got the mosselman turbo manifold need to get the turbo just piling up the parts before I start tearing things apart. What kind of bhp you getting do you know?
@@mnaeem49 Nice man I was going to buy that mossleman manifold about 4 years ago looks like a nice simple manifold. Hope your build goes well and you will be very please. My friend just finished his build very similar to mine and his dyno print out was 293bhp so nice jump up on power after :). Louis
Modified Mercs Uk I am interested in a turbo conversion on my w202 c230k 96. What are the main things you have done to get the turbo setup running except manifold, turbo, oil lines, re-routed silcone hoses? I am currently running a double pulley setup and some other minor mods. But are there something that are key to this build?
@@FineW_TurboM111 hi man there's not really much to it to be honest the hardest part is building the manifold and down pipe on the right hand drive cars the space between the engine and steering box is very small which makes fitting a custom downpipe a bit of a challenge. Once it's on and fitted it's then to keep the turbo cool and good flows across it. I changed the coolant bottle to an Ali bottle and fitted heat shield. Had to weld the rear diff as mine was an open diff not the 16v diff so under full boost 1 wheel starts spinning up while in 3rd gear and was not nice to drive. Once welded was so much better but then reduced low speed turning. Cheers louis
