I really loved how the Chasm’s battle themes transitioned from normal to battle mode; really reminded me of modern Fire Emblem games, from Awakening to Three Houses; the battle themes in those were just the map themes but included more instruments, percussion, etc.
The Chasm OST is absolutely spectacular. I hope Hoyoverse releases an orchestra video for this, similar to what they did for the Inazuma theme. Would love to see the strings instruments in action.
I just finished the Chasm the other day and I was disappointed with the final fight. With music this emotional you should've had to fight your sibling (maybe like Vergil in DMC3, multiple fights across the game and this would be the first), not the same Ruin Serpent boss you could've found and fought a bunch already. -_-

@@0xVENx0 actually there are no enemies in this area, you will actually never hear this theme again once you defeated the abyss mages around the nail area for the quest
I "hum" this theme as therapy, I'm truly thankful for the whole chasm OST and how it always reminds me of dainsleif now, I really didnt expect the chasm to be like this and about what it is (except I did expect the minning xD)
They really know how to make the best experiences during the quests The feeling I had when I reached the peak of Dragonspine for the first time and the bottom of the chasm for the first time ...those are unforgettable

I really love this place and this theme. It really makes my mind clean in this place. At first I arrived here and listened this theme at the battle, I finally knew the feeling which Dainsleif said at the upturned city.
One of my favourite battle songs in Genshin Impact, besides the other song " Against All Odds: Domain Battle Theme." It reminded me of the time SSO performed Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto 2 in Concert Hall a few years ago and has that melancholic splendour filling the atmosphere.
I give it one more soundtrack and yu peng chen will master dynamic soundtracks, this is good, but i think he still sticked too much to the quiet version and made the battle songs feel a bit lacking in some points
@@sansidotti I feel like those songs will still probably grow in time, as he does with a lot of soundtracks. a lot of the battle themes are just different version of themselves, and yet still amazing in their own way. those that feel lacking will eventually find its time to shine.
To me sounds like Kingdom Hearts specially the piano and strings parts, idk it has that vibe, also yeah, I can hear some Nier too, but for some weird reason I can sense the Genshin style too, anyways, this piece of music blew my mind the first time I heard it, HoyoMix delivered once again 🎶🙏
