gabriel ay pucha, mananayaw akong igorot, hindi ganyan ang sayaw namin, creative reinterpretation yan, ibang iba ang galaw. Modern Interpretative dance yan, you have the artistic license to dance your dance but don't use our traditional attires and claim that it's igorot dance if you don't know how to do it. Pambababoy yan, gets mo? Umakyat ka sa baguio at cordilleras para makita mo na hindi ganyan.

The steps are purely from the interpretation of the choreographer. Those are not genuine steps of the KALINGA nor Cordillera dance. The staging is good though. For the banga dance, to be able to balance those with ease, it should have been filled with sand.

FYI they are not pure YKalingas but they give justice a kalinga dance, the choreographer did a research well for that interpretation.. mahirap gayahin ang particular traditional dance step and gesture if you are not a native of that tribe or born in that province and that is not their culture either. at least hindi nila binaboy yung katutubong sayaw ng kalinga.
