Lestat mentioned he was 200 years old and it shows, aside from retaining his usual charm and other excesses, he seems more mature than the movie and book version because I know that Lestat was a young vampire himself when he turned Louis.
Yeah I think they changed period when he met Louis but they kept the timeline that Lestat became vampire
Well, it was said that the show runners incorporated traits from later books in the shower version of Lestat. It explains a lot of the changes 🙂 n the dynamic between Louis and him.

Raleigh Ritchie is talented. Sad that HBO didn't utilize it more for the Grey Worm character.
The show is addicting, I haven't felt that about one from the 1st episode in a long time. The creator of the video captured perfectly the mood and their undeniable chemistry. The song choice was perfect. After TVD and TO I couldn't find a vamp couple that looked so perfect together ♥️

This video is so addictive! It is truly one of my favorites that I have seen in this fandom. The music gets me. Lestat and his sassy quotes, Louis in his exasperation. But I truly love how you managed to capture the personality of the characters, even as it played beneath music. Excellent!

@@lilianaarmijo4518 It's just that some was hard to hear especially because there was music with lyrics and I can't concentrate on what the dialogue is saying. I don't like putting music w vocals under dialogue. it's better to put instrumental under dialogue audio, it helps accentuate the dialogue. plus, they layered dialogue audio w others and it all seemed mashed together, kind of seamlessly but well and a little bit bad at the same time

Bro if one was a girl you wouldn't be saying shit. Also a stories "content" are literally the things that make it up. This attracting someone who's interested in romance gay or otherwise is the same as it attracting someone who likes vampires.
I hate race swapping, but this was done right, it's a reimagining, like the 2005 Battlestar Galactica. It's great and the race swapping wasn't just for kicks/marketing like Rings of Power, it actually means something to the character's personality, life, etc.
I don't mind race swapping or whatever the hell you call it. Their just people as far as I'm concerned and being in a family that is racially diverse, this is the norm for me.
To be fair they’re a hot couple. I’ve seen a lot of IR couples that don’t look right together or aren’t believable as a couple. This version of Lestat and Louis look great together and they’re sexy with lots of chemistry.
