My bf thought it was a bot on Ig messaging him so he sent a pic and this blackmail convo happened. I was irritated but went fbi on them, found their name, city, potential phone number, and told them we went to the police😋 so they stopped lol.
I literally just had this scam happen to me I just told the guy to send the pics to everyone because I don’t care lol. He got frustrated and left me alone

I was a victim of the exact same scam about 10 years ago. Most of the scammers were from the Philippines. From the messages and the how he dropped the price down to $100, J's scammer is most likely from Nigeria.
My guy even called me while he was on the way to a Western Union. I sent him a few bucks, hoping he would leave me alone. He kept messaging me the next day to send him the rest of the money or else he would send the video to my FB contacts. I just blocked and deleted him. Never heard from him again 😂
