- FIGHTERS WHO STOPPED THEMSELVES FROM HITTING THEIR OPPONENTS BECAUSE THERE WAS NO NEED TO CONTINUE. Best sportsmanship moments in boxing and mma.
Thank for watching.
Making lists all about mma, boxing, muay thai and all other types of combat sports from major promotions like HBO, UFC, Bellator, Showtime, Triller and others.
This channel is known as the first channel to introduce videos about regular guys challenging professional fighters. These so idiots vs professionals you should think they were going to win. How does a normal man believe that he can challenge a professional fighter and that he will win. It's almost impossible. I have also made videos about martial arts that are useless and you should not spend time learning them. I like to make videos on all types of martial arts including boxing, mma, muay thai, wrestling, and any other type of combat sport. Lastly, knockouts are a fundamental part of these sports and I make a lot of videos about this type of victory.

Should these refs get fired?
Probably lol
Have you guys heard that mike tyson and roy jones are allegedly gonna fight
I see that Bruce Lee isn't that bad after all.

You're not supposed to end the fight when he can't fight back, you end the fight when he is unable to continue fighting, even if that means that he is getting his ass beat, those are the rules, but these fighters are really good people

That’s probably what the ref said to Jose Aldo in his most recent fight
4:30 we are amateur fighter, we dont get money we dont get paid, RESPECT!!
The Holmes Frazier fight was one of the first fights I ever saw (and remember) as a child. I'll never forget it because of Holmes constantly telling the ref to stop it as he pummeled Frazier in the corner. It was awful refereeing.
The corners also had every opportunity to throw in the towel too.
Thank-you for mentioning that, are those people on a coffee break...why didn't they protect their fighter, its crazy how no one stepped in when so many people watching the fight, even the ring doctors.
It's not really the corners job to stop a fight. We all know the whole throingnin a towel thing, but that is very rare. In fact I was a boxer and the coach would leave it to the fighter. Most of us told him to never stop unless we asked.
@@praetoriangamingandreviews9537 it is the corner job to stop the fight if they see there fighter getting this snot beat out of them they can throw in the towel. If your corner sit by and watch you get beat to hell it's time to look for a new corner your manger should give a crap about you to wanna keep you safe. And if someone tells there corner no matter how much I'm getting beat up don't throw in the towel that's foolish pride and that deadly.
Whats your profile pic from? Looks badass
Michael McGeary it's absolutely the corners job to stop a fight if they think their fighter is taking unnecessary damage and the ref is an idiot
As a young guy, the most respect, manners, mercy and forbearance I was ever taught was during the time I was part of a local boxing thing where college kids in their spare time taught us boxing, ran a local competition (I did okay, was 3rd ranked out of about 30 kids, but the top two were an entire world above me and the rest). I still think back to that time as being a time in my youth when I wasn't depressed, unhappy. One kid was an unhinged kid with attitude, kept causing trouble, but the college kids running it kept trying to help and guide him. One day that problem kid picked a fight despite the other kid repeatedly trying to talk him down, the problem kid insisted on a fight, then got his ass beat in 30 seconds. The (upper class/influential) parents of the problem kid flapped loudly for days until the college kids were forced to stop mentoring/running the boxing group.
You know what almost never happened when we had that group? We weren't getting into bad trouble. We had a focus. We had mentors. We had a community. We had young men slapping us around a bit, making us wannabe young men learn how to be decent men, teaching us discipline. Broke kids were involved (like me), all the way up to kids with rich parents, but we were all friends, we were all equal in that community, we had each other's back. You just can't have nice things, someone can't stand it and has to tear it down.
Can't have men in groups anymore
Fighter who tapped out to prevent his opponent from getting hurt is pure class.
The ref thought it was a gladiator. A fight to the death
Yep
Professionals have standards
I agree but then lifting his arms was too much lol... I don't need that much pittt
@@OS10100 nope. If it's a complete mismatch, the honorable thing to do is to tap out. This is a sport not a fight till death bloodbath.

The mma fighter who tapped out to not hurt the other fighter has heart.
It was #5 for me.. That's Sportsmanship right there..
this guy is absolute king. the guy he was fighting wasn’t on his level at all. there weren’t actually meant to fight but his actual opponent pulled out so he jumped in not realising that was no match for him. but yet still absolute king move to tap out to save that lad
For sure but what career you got by doing that... just throw a couple good combos and tell the ref to stop like the rest of the guys on the list. Heart of gold yes but I feel he could've gone a different way about it.
@@felixgutierrez993 Yeah i dont understand why he didnt just throw a few soft punches and make the ref stop the fight... Didnt have to knock the guy out cold to make the referee stop the fight.

"ref, with all due respect - i'm the one hitting him, and i can feel his face. that's the face of a dude who just got ktfo."
I guess we know how the ref bet......
ref 100% got a large enough bribe to make what happened happen. most of the refs in this video were bought. its easy to see
@@tjhall1000 when you buy out the ref, but get killed as a result of it
@@tjhall1000 Not necessarily bought, maybe they just don't give a shit about these being actual people.
Edit: On the other hand, I'm guessing that referees that are considered to call out too early (or whatever the correct term is) receive a lot of shit for doing so).
This was truly a great watch..seeing people being extremely humble and humane, not wanting to inflict any more damage than neccessary..its awesome seeing acts like this as it reminds me that there are, without a shadow of doubt, genuinely good people in the world. God bless yall n stay safe 🙏✌
I like 7 and 8 best. 8 because that's honestly just impressive going from being about to take someone's head off to not even touching them. And 7 because accepting a loss for the sake of your opponent is pretty honourable.
I'm not sure that wasn't a lady boy 🧐
All these fighters display something that is getting lost nowadays more and more in fighting. Class.
🤣🤣🤣in the second to last fight. I assume Holmes is waving the ref over but because of the framing of the camera it looks like he comically winding up his punches

For me, the moments of control like these are even more satisfying than most knockouts. The sportsmanship is amazing.
I love how that ref in the last video jumped in and protected the fighter as though _he_ made the call to stop the fight. Dude, the opponent _asked_ you to stop that shit like 5 seconds prior but you wanted him to keep beating on the guy.
Lmao i laughed so hard on that last one
😳🤨
But... refs stop the fight a lot more quickly in the modern era than back then. For an example of the change, the 3 knockdown rule was decades away when that fight happened, people expected fighters to keep going as long as they could be on their feet. Yes, boxers got a lot more concussions and brain damage, that's why the rules were finally changed. But the fact that stuff happened shows what was normal in that era. The ref was only a little bit slower than the norm. Btw, do people nowadays know the term "punch drunk"? That was the term for a retired fighter who permanently sounded drunk because of the accumulated brain damage. It was common enough that there was a slang term for it.
One of the main guidelines in all major martial arts, respect.
Every one of these fighters are a a testament to their art.
It's absolutely refreshing to see respect integrity and sportsmanship for a change, even when the authority endorses otherwise. That's true character
This is basically a compilation of bad refereeing
Daniel Sánchez Sánchez pretty much these are brutal sports so shame on them
And bad corner men
J. Hernandez your one of those peaoe
Keep in mind, most (not all) were still standing and still guarding. Should the ref call a fight when you are still actively guarding? How many fights would have ended because a skilled fighter was waiting for an opening?
9 2:09 why the hell you stop it...
This is the difference between a sportsman and a thug with gloves.
There's no difference.

I don't really like MMA or any of the fighting type sports, but This is really wholesome. There is a lot of good sportsmanship in this sport, I respect the hell out of that.
More of these man, please !! Please hurry !! I am losing my hope in humanity at an alarming rate !!!
They should make an award for this type of stuff.
Definitely. Instead of fight of the night, bro of the night. Sound kind of stupid, but something similar.
Considering how ridiculed Pat Barry was after showing "too much" sportsmanship in the Crocop fight, I'd guess these awards would be called "hugfest of the night/light sparring buddies OTN".
Or back in the days the Gracies were still relevant, Sakuraba got a lot of shit for not snapping Royler Gracie's arm; Royler and the rest of the Gracie clan kept strutting around claiming that Saku lost the fight, Royler never tapped ("Gracies don't tap!!!©") and Sak was protected by the referee.
(One of the reasons that made him break Renzo's arm with a Kimura)
Yessss 🙌
Michael Casimer not a good idea, then there would be fake sportsmanship. It should come naturally
Great shout...it would encourage fair play and good sportsmanship.
I don’t usually watch boxing, but I am glad to see there are still people out there , even in a brutal sport, have compassion

I wish mohammad ali and jerry quarry is in the list. I got so emotional in this kind content. We all know that boxing is not a joke, boxing is tiring guys you have to have the endurance a lot. Props to all boxers in the world.
class act those two amateurs both of 'em. tapping out, incredible, but also the loser recognizing the win. very respectful.
Nigel Benn. Class act. I've seen him do that in several fights. Couldn't be a nicer guy outside the ring, but when it's time to go, he was as vicious a middleweight as there's ever been in boxing.
Rey Leichtle big fan of benn.he was a beast in the ring
That's what I call class. I think the guy that tapped him self out should have been number 1.
I knew mike at this time and this is a perfect example of his character he’s crazy gentle and calm outside of the ring and a beast inside overall great guy

Dude for number 1 I just couldn’t get over how thin their legs were
They skipped leg day bc they only use their arms, kind of stupid but they didn't know any better
There are men who still train like that to this day. The "club muscle" types who think it's too dark in the venue to see the rest of their bodies. They are banned from day parties.

Nr9 was crazy bro. I cant believe that
I think #9 was the best moment tbh
Truly impressed with number 9. That could of got real ugly but it didn't. Very classy.
Number 2: "I didn't want to hurt anybody" proceeds to hit him with full strength and literally spin his head.
These are the kind of fighters I respect the most. Only real warriors can preform such a courtesy.
They are winners and they know it.
Roy Jones was a beast back then.
Chad "Savage" George is my MMA coach (I'm not joking) he is an awesome coach and an awesome fighter.✊
He’s only got one good win. He’s not very good at submission defense. Probably an awesome coach though 😂
I’m sorry ☹️.
@PlayUpJades cause its 2020
#7 clearly should be #1. Most respectful thing I've ever seen in the ring.
#8 Holmes vs Frazier. I wondered if it would make the list. I watched that fight live with my step-father (who was a huge boxing fan) when I was only 13. My step-father passed away 30 years ago and this brings back memories of my (short) time with him.
Fighter : hey ref, I'm not gonna make it to round 2.
Ref : one way in. One way out.
😂
Ortiz’s apology is equal to shitting in someone’s coffee in front of them then saying sorry. Don’t blame Floyd.
"The kid wasn't ready"
Does this thick mustache I spent years to grow mean nothing to you? 😥
#9 was so amazing, I didn't even see it!
I once fought a kid whose shoulder was nearly destroyed and I saw when he swang that he couldn't fight so I quit so he wouldn't get hurt further and cause permanent damage. I later learned he got put in his arm bar and that's what caused his arm injury
Link, please 👍
I love this! THIS IS HOW FIGHTS SHOULD BE. MMA is terrible the hammer fists AFTER someone is already knocked out. The sport will be Reevaluated one day.
Jesus, that ref that didn’t recognize the Von Flue choke needs to either watch some more fights or be straight up fired.
Number 9 was the most mind blowing one. HOW WAS IT NOT NUMBER 1. 🤯
I know MMA I s deemed "barbaric", "inhumane, so forth. But so many times these fighters show superb restraint. MMA is my favorite entertainment.
Respects all fighters who cares for other fighters who are knocked down out of action 💯%...
Where's Mario "I can still see him moving" Yamasaki when you need him
:59. Damn wicked headbutt
Number 9 went by so fast, I didn't see it.
Ref: Keep goin boys! I got money on a KO
I laughed so hard “ the referee is a complete idiot that day” # 1
Williams and Bojack. What a fight it looked to be.
9:56 Look carefully. Holmes was showboating swirling his fist looking at it then punching. There was 0 appeal to the referee. Credit where credit is due though: the rest of the fighters were classic examples of humanity even in extremity.
He was showboating for the referee to see the difference how easy his opponent was getting hammered by him
Shoaib Haq could be. Sure wasn’t holding those punches back or raising eyes to the ref though, but it is a different perspective.
You Are 100% right
Holmes was a legend who Mike Tyson couldn't beat😎🔥💯
All have ethics. These are good people.
4:00 damn, what a sport.
6:14 when your opponent is nore concerned about your health than the referee. Huge respect to both fighters, one took a beating like a man and the other showed mercy like a gentleman and true warrior.
The number 5 fight cracked me up. The way he had his arm over the guy's shoulder as he guided him ti the corner while seemingly scolding the ref is just too funny to me.
One of the most noble things I’ve ever seen in a fight. Taps out to save opponent.
Yeah, he said they weren't getting paid to fight and he refused to cause permanent damage for nothing
Agreed, that was an amazing thing to do. But the Larry Holmes fight with him saying he didn't want to hurt the kid, half heartedly waving the ref in before landing big right bombs repeatedly as if wanting to take his head off.
I suppose it takes great restraint to stop yourself throwing more shots when in the heat of battle with the adreneline pumping, much respect to them.
Amateur fights can be pretty dangerous. If the fighters don't get paid, the ref is probably underpaid (if paid at all) and not qualified.
He coudve won without really hurting him any more
