Karthik Swami Temple || Uttrakhand || Kanakchauri village || Solo Travel ||

Karthik Swami Temple which is located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Karthikey.
The temple is often visited by trekkers and pilgrims who undertake a trek of around 14 kilometers from Kanak Chauri village to reach the shrine.
Lord Kartikeya showed his anger on the decision and sacrificed his body and bones to his father as reverence. It is believed that this whole incident took place here, and thus, the temple is named as Kartik Swami.
