That parrot isn't she! You can tell about Indian ringneck gender by seeing if it has ring in its neck or not! Male parrots have rings of black and red color and female parrot have none

You picked your parrot before it was ripe! It's not supposed to be green.
If you put it in a brown paper bag and leave it in a warm place it'll ripen even if you picked it early.

The ducks are naturally reacting to a predator threat.
CauseAndEffect but that's the thing, parrots are not predatory birds. Compared to him ducklings are predatory because they will eat meat if offered. As far as I know most ducks eat fish. But yes they do seem stressed.
