Well you can't drop your fishing line from the peer any more to catch a fish but if you are single there is plenty of fish in the sea. So, go ahead and drop a line from the peer you never know.
There was stones there at wall which are now sanded Hotels was complaining about paying taxes for beach front property but had no beach front now they do Sad thing I am 44 and been seeing go on
With all the shark attacks, they really should stop fishing on the peers. You’re literally just chumming the sharks where people hang out. It’s really the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, I never hang out by any pier.
True, but sharks follow Live bait pods along the beach, and feed on them, the recent shark attacks in the panhandle, were from people swimming near or at Live bait pods ( minnows, pogies,or ribbons, there was no pier near the predatory attacks.
Genius until one large hurricane comes. Mother Nature is always gonna win.
Not many hurricanes go through that area. So it should be fine.
They actually did that to help take the brunt of a storm surge .
Genius? How are us anglers supposed to fish? 😢
@@Righteous_Reapers ask God
But the ocean levels are rising😅
The guy says it left the peer temporarily standing on sand, so it's only temporary
Seen it today. It does look weird. Not supposed to look like that.
Soooo, what's a fishing pier for?
Shade from the heat lol
My first reaction was, "Oh my God, Tsunami!"
i was down there last month and on one side of the pier it was all sand and the other side was all water
You have your diagram backward!!!! The pier is south of Anastasia State Park!!!!!
Why not put in a heavy stone jetty?
Why not mind your own business
@@turtleneckferretwhy dont you learn some manners.
Why not plant appropriate vegetation in row segments which will help keep the sand somewhat in place?
Build Back Better 🔥
Just let nature do its thing
Too much sand???.... Maybe this wasn't thought out!!! ❤😂🎉 .... but, nature will be taking the sand back.... yea.... but it sure looks funny now!!! 😊
Half will be gone in one year . 80 % in two yrs and back the same as it was by 5 years

Where's the sand coming from? Venezuela? Dirty sand.
Venezuelas beaches are a thousand times nicer than Floridas 😂 if not look it up🤷🏻
Then they should stay in Venezuela
@@pasquale6173and you should go to hell🤷🏻😂
The sand comes from directly offshore in front of where they placed it.
Signs of the times. Climate Change played a huge roll in why this was done.
🤣🤣
Corp of Engineers...guaranteed screw up.
Climate change will let mangroves grow there soon.
If the sand was just dumped there what would make while coyote think he'll find treasure already
They dredged the sand from deeper water where there are lots of shipwrecks off of Florida with some containing gold.
Ya know, not every woman should wear a bikini. Please, a little consideration.
Feel better now?
Jewlryart, you sound beautiful.
So much for rising seas 😂😂. More proof climate change is a hoax !!!
