It was the year 1216 and King John and his baggage train of carts and horses carrying the crown jewels and other sundries were attempting the short cut across the Wash.They misjudged the incoming tide and they lost some carts and some horses and,of course,the crown jewels to the oozing mud.....Here endeth the history lesson.

Looks a good site 👍 To walk to Lynn you'd have to go inland, but I suspect that's more to do with the marsh you'd have to cross rather than the royal estate. Go on, do Hunstanton, I see on park4night there's a pub opposite Tesco where you can stay the night in the car park if you have a meal in the pub. 👍
