Next I will show you how to brew all grain, step-by-step.
Subscribe, like, and turn on notifications for my next brew video. I promise it will be better than this. This is just a rough first video to show you how my brew day went with the Vevor electric brew kettle and to introduce you to all grain brewing.

Thanks for this. Considering getting this one myself
Glad I could help!
Just unboxing mine. I cant lift thr grain basket out. it wont go pst the wire ring its suppose to rest on. how do you lift it out? please
Thanks for the video. I'll be brewing for the first time with my Vevor tomorrow. I'm just sad you were somehow reduced to drinking PBR during brew day 😂
Lol I ran out of home brew! I’ll brew again this week and do a step by step video.
PBR is awesome, you must look up and old Dennis Hopper movie called Blue velvet. "what's your favorite beer? Heineken, fuck that $hit Pabst Blue ribbon"
Hold the temperature key for at least 3 seconds it will switch over to Fahrenheit.
Thank you!
Can you please do a video on the controller I hate the instructions 😊
I think I’m brewing this weekend and if I do then I’ll make a video for it!!
Does anyone know the diameter of the line that goes into the sink (mm x mm)? Thanx
What size hose for the wort chiller? Does it need to b high temp
Going to be ordering one soon, so wanted to know if it can handle the pressure. Also, why drink commercial beer when you make your own? :)
What is PCB Button?
Can you sparge with the grain basket up and draining? After adding more hot water?
I do. The Vevor has a pump that you can switch on to circulate but I wouldn’t use it to sparge. I brew 8 gals and will strike with 6ish and the sparge afterward to get it up to 8. Seems to work fine. If your OG/FG is off, you can always add a lb or 2 of cane sugar during your boil to bump it up 1 or 2%.
@@matthewgregory7304 Why would you not use it to sparge?
If the arm is long enough, it looks like a perfect scenario with the basket up and spreading the water over the grain bed.
I'm really close to buying one, that's why I ask.
Thanks
@@sfazey Because then you’re sparging with your mash. Not rinsing your grain with clean water to rinse all the sugars off your grain. I’ve just found that I get better results if you sparge without the pump.
@@matthewgregory7304 That's true.
Thanks for your time.
I’m curious how you are calculating your strike water volume - typically it’s around 1.25 quarts per pound of grain - if you are doing 15 pounds of grain I would think 3 gallons is the correct number but you said you’ve got about 5 gallons of water in the pot. So, are you adding additional water because of the loss due to the false bottom sitting up?
How long did it take to get the strike water to temp? Then how long to bring the wort to boiling temp?
I dint remember but I'll be brewing again in about a week and I'll try to update you.
Does your top sparge plate fit unevenly?
It’s awkward, but if you lube up the edges of it with some water, it will slide in much easier.
This bla bla in the background is very disturbing. Anyway, good contribution to brewing with the VEVOR automat.
