to all you new people out in the comments. no bov doesnt hurt the turbo, since the turbo is spinning freely because there is no extra exhaust being forced in it the air in the pipes just bounces around and finds the intake of the turbo, exting through that it gets chopped up creating that flutter sound. the turbo has slightly more stress but if you dont buy the $100 ebay special that uses fidget spinner bearing nothing bad really happens. just think about this. air make turbo slow.
