This guy is the best personality in golf UA-cam.
That’s why he was voted Lithuanias top UA-cam golfer 10 years in a row
You misspelled ‘only’
Need him to come play Ron Chopper! He’s just a good playa out of luck
He is the only personality in UA-cam Golf!! Waddaplaya!!!🎉
The only real personality. The others are trying to put on a show. This is big budget movie making. The others are straight to video………..
The landing area shape at 6:30 . LOL!
That's how you play big dick golf as a high handicapper.
I am sure that was planned 😂🤣😂🤣
missed opportunity to show the ball from the tip to the hole
I came down here to look for this and say that it had to have been 100% planned. Then again, I'm the living embodiment of Butthead, so...
I seen that too
I laughed so hard when you just holed the 56😂 BOSS!
the composure after that chip in shows why you are the #1 Lithuanian golf youtuber
He's Lithuanian?

One of the best golf channels on UA-cam.. Breaks it down and makes it look simple.. And very funny definitely love a round of golf with this gezzer 😂
Perfect timing just finished the bbq now chill with a beer and a video from the boas
Black belt in No Can Do.. How funny. The one liners you have are the best
Thanks Matt. When I'm playing I'm beginning to hear your advice whispering in my ear😁.
Can you feel the gentle caress of the whisper
I think “ titties to the target” evrytime I chip
Incredible Coach! After my 2 last rounds of 84 & 83, shaved almost 8 strokes on the same course, aiming towards the back of the green, 23 putts and my buddies laughed after dunking 2 chips and yelling NINJA!!! Oh and I had forgotten my drive at home...Confidential!
Most of the time, I don't worry about the score. I just play what I envision to be the best shots and take the bogeys and double bogeys, even triple bogeys as they come. This gives me many insights on what to do and not to do. Over time, my scores got better, my techniques got better. I also play more on Pitch & Putt courses to improve the short game. I feel the driving range is only good for warming up, correcting flaws and fine tuning. Then again, hitting off a mat is not realistic. No sure if any of you do the same thing.
Matty, your channel is the best, most relevant one out there. Your delivery is low key and the content does not fill my head with stuff I cannot do. I've taken about ten shots off my handicap over the 18 months I have been subscribed and following your mantra. Thank you, golf is enjoyable now.
Nice one Matty BB ... I'm going to take an extra club because I've been having a lot of soya milk in my coffee and I ate too much tofu last night. High quality life advice. Bob Rotella would be proud.
21:45 "Now of course everyone wants my distance, and my direction and aim...even me."
I make myself jealous
My wife would say “your so full of yourself”! 😅
😂😂😂
Just followed this advice on a course where I usually shoot between 48 (best score) and 55. Just shot a 43 after watching this video. Played super safe and set up easy chips and putts for myself. Awesome video thank you❤
Best UA-cam golfer. Videos are so funny and interesting to watch
5:39 One thing I disagree with is not using the 60. 2x a week, practice chipping into a bucket in the backyard for 30 minutes after work, and I think the average bear can develop touch. It’s become my comfort club around the green! Same concept applies for reading like a putt- I just imagine my aim point is that bucket from the backyard and I’m golden.
Thank you for your content, man! You have radically improved how I think and play the game. In my second year of golf now and I’m consistently shooting mid 80’s. I cannot thank you enough.
best course management vids on youtube.
my confidentiality is thru the roof thanks to this video. You are the man.
Can’t believe you don’t own UA-cam. Style, Personality, and everything else complementary. South AfriCan as well. ⛳️👏
Needs to make a shirt that says ' Confidential"
Hopefully he never stops saying this or his authentic lingo.

Im not gay but man i love matty boom boom! Top class easy to understand info with comedy just makes watching so easy!! And 110% the reason ive shaved 3 stroke off my handicap this year! Keep it up man
These videos have me feeling confidential! ❤
Since watching your vids my confidentiality has boosted. You have made golf fun for me. Chur Matty Boom Boom 💥
You are 1 of my 2 favorite youtube golfers and you mentioned my other. Grant Horvat......I'd LOVE to see a collaboration between the two of you!!!! Before I play a round....I always watch your vids and try to gather your whispers to take on the course with me. You boost my confidentiality 😊
Hello Matt. Your advice is dead right. I like the way you pronounce the word DISTANCE. 😂😂😂
I hate to be pedantic, but I believe there is an accent on the e in distancé. 🧐

I love it. "That's gambler's fallacy and it works in your favor." Gave me a chuckle as a statistician.
one of you best video. compelling and straightforward. congrats.

Love that putter! Feedback looks real!
This was a very important video for me ! Thank you so much ! 😊
After going back and watching a lot of earlier videos, your backswing looks shorter. The sound from your irons is a beautiful thing. When did you change the length of your backswing? Are there any of your videos that discuss this change?
I shot a little clip today for you, I will upload it
Thank you so much. I will look forward to that.
I like how you talk about using the same swing with different clubs to start to cover different yardages. It’s like the foundations of Dan Grieve’s 3 releases system for pitching/chipping
Was that my imagination at 6:45 about the shape of the blue area?
This Dan greeves sounds like he knows what’s up. All i care about is simple
@@GolfSidekick, it's simple enough that even I can do it.
For chipping: 3 Releases (#1 - toe-down bump & run, #2 - Standard, & #3 - Lob {but only for those who have MASTERED #1 & #2).
For Pitching: 3 stance widths (1, 2, or 3 club heads apart), choose bump-&-run or standard release based on preference and let foot spacing determine the length of back swing. No more clock-position. Just use the same swing w/ SW, GW, PW, & 9I to cover 30-100 yards... It's almost like there is a BAUSE in SE Asia giving out this free advice...
These lessons taught make lot of sense. Just chipping can be a big challenge for many of us. With 60 degree. Haha.
You are the best buddy!
The ton of tips and advice you give in your videos, especially regarding positive mental attitude has transformed my ball striking. Still need to improve direction and 'touch' but every ball I stand over I expect to smoke it.
Thanks for the great videos....and 'quirky' presentation. You're the best on this platform🇮🇪
nice to have some ivory coast viewers playa
@@GolfSidekick haha...Ireland brother☘️🏌⛳️
This guy is freakin hilarious… my new fave UA-cam golfer
i'll never forget GIOTG.
Toe down chipping is great for tight lies bc it keeps the hosel from digging into the grass and thus hitting less chips fat.
Your "easy chip" just about made me fall off my chair... I do love this approach and need to do it more. I usually think backwards form the green while at the tee, but have been focusing on distances to break up the hole, but not about the possible misses along the way! It should be a simple addition to my course management thinking, just a few more seconds might make a huge difference.
The safe side color shading looked like C and B
love the phallic tribute @6:33
I thought that I was the only one who caught that 😂
Hello Matt, did you post that video? What is it called?
Easily some of the best golf tips that make sense!
Your 6 iron goes longer than my 7 wood! I'm getting old Baus 🤣🤣🤣🤣
All my stokes over right now are in my long game, hitting into trees, OB, lost balls, etc.
I’m actually getting up and down like a baus.
Nice playa
Here is. suggestion:
Pay attention to the shot shape
Pay attention to how much it misses your landing area
Shift your target to the left or right instead so the ball lands there
Often lost balls and OB are from wrong targets for the shot pattern and also zero commitment to the shot you have chosen. The commitment may be down to cinfidence in the club or your brain not aligning your shot shape to the target you selected.
You can work on understanding your shot shape and aim for it, see a pro or use higher loft off the tee to ensure a ball in play
Great short game video. But, I do miss the music that usually plays the last few minutes of your videos
That easy chip was looking pretty hard
Unrelated... I've just taken delivery of one of your bucket hats... it is my favorite hat... ! 😂
Thanks again, Golf Psychic... 😵💫⛳️👍🏼
Great video………keep up the good work 😃
Dude you are WAY funnier than Grant Horvat. That little grass toss with the heel kick... 🤣
when chipping I often grab the wrong club because i don't know what my shot actually looks like and the cart is too far away when I realize I have the wrong club
Do you mind if I challenge you to a golf match?

My man, sick vdo! Where is this golf course? I want to play here
Kirimaya maboi
"1-putt poker" is a really good game for this
I watch all those videos and for us amateur hi handicap players golfers it’s hitting fairways and greens, or I should say not hitting them.
Fantastic information, very clearly explained, but I have one question: why is that person wearing a plastic face mask on a golf course?
Gooi Brannas. Like the lessons, it gives us shit golfers hope of braking 90. LOL
hey playas, can you give a novice some advice, i keep chunking 70% of my chip shots? I'd like to achieve some confidentialism with my chips
If you’re a beginner, then first off id suggest to not chip with anything higher than say 48 degrees. And then I’d work on the toe down method (the easiest way to chip), and then I’d practice at least twice as long as you spend at the driving range. Onward from that, the basic principle is that you’re bottoming out your swing before the ball… so just find a patch of grass at the practice green… learn where the bottom of YOUR swing is just by taking practice swings without the ball, and once you’ve determined where it is, place the ball just behind it and swing again.
Check out Dan Grieve

It will fix you instantly
And benefit your whole game

My favorite, practical, common sense South African 😊
I love how the chic changes her mask !!! LOL
Bold of you to assume I can hit where I am aiming lol
6:32 Intended design? xD
The shape of the chip zone on the par 3 was a little questionable 😅
What is the question?
No question just pointed out the funny shape made for easy chip zone on the par 3 😂. Loving the content tho Matt. I’ve rewatched so many videos old and new all good stuff. Appreciate the mental aspect you bring to make golf easier
"You're gonna pound this like a cheap steak." 🤣🤣🤣

Matty Boom Boom, forgive my indecision (about clubs to use). I am only a man (but bout to be a Baus). Then again, you’re always first (on the tee) when no one’s in your side (of the green).
Sounds incubusish
@@GolfSidekick you would be Correct
As many middle aged golf nuts, I've watched many videos from different 'tubers'. But none IMHO really discuss course management - it's all about golf equipment or swing mechanics. When in fact what you show us is how to think about the course, see the opportunities and understand your best approach is the way to improve your score better. You've helped me think deeply and properly about my game and how to use my modest skills to improve my scores and enjoyment of golf. Thank you. Keep up the excellent content. And I tell all my friends to watch you.
I completely agree! I've literally dropped 10 to 15 strokes from my game by LISTENING to what Boss-man says!!!
These videos are golden. Your swing and feels will come and go. You need to make sure you’re adapting your strategy along the way, otherwise you’ll keep expecting yourself to do shot’s you simply can’t do. Eradicating unnecessary errors are the fastest way to get better at golf.
I’m also preaching the Gospel of Matty
Excellent point. The irony is that when we take the hyper focus off of the golf swing mechanics, the more relaxed and effective our swing becomes. Thats what’s happening with my game. Fun times!
It's a game of strategy, not skill or athleticism. That's why obese 60 year old's can play it well.
I gained so much confidentialism after watching your video. Thank you!
That female influencer comment had me dying lolol
This strategy on par 3’s has given me more confidentiality and as result shaved a few strokes off my handi.
If I keep my chips low can I get “clean’ ho.
Thanks Baus
Matty boom boom, could you a video on how to approach getting distracted, or playing after getting flustered, maybe emotions from outside of golf, weird interaction with someone then having to swing, idk stuff like that. If that sounds dumb, then nevermind lol.
Not dumb at all. A mental video about how to deal with life stuff and still hitting good golf shots would be awesome.
Good idea. I’ll try
Asking for Scottie Sheffler...
Sounds great, also playing first tees for beginners
"when you miss 14 greens a round", I appreciate your faith in my golf game, I'm looking more like missing 18 greens a round

Thank you so much for your tutorials! You have helped so much in the mental aspects of the game, not to mention technique.
Ben Hogan used to ideally only hot shots in tournaments that he had practised 200 times each... He worked backwards from cup to tee and was a golf genius like The Baus! ❤😂🎉😅😊
Great mental thought processes,
More importantly where in the world is that gorgeous golf course. Rolling hills, stunning greenery and bright blue sky. Is it near the sea? Do you have an NHS level health programme. I feel the urge to move to warmth.
