That was fun to watch. Thank you Jim for entertaining us once again. Your village is filled with your joy and love for our shared hobby. I hope you managed to get everyone back to their normal size. Merry Christmas y to you and your loved ones.
Thank you so much! It means a lot when one of my favorite village video makers (videoist!?) enjoys the work. BTW, I'm still stuck, shrunk to tiny villager size. There are no bathrooms down here. Could you flip the switch to Reverse and turn on the laser? Please!!
Peace CAN find its way home. What a meaningful story, so well told! Thank you Jim, for reminding us why we need a real Christmas to believe in, a way to heal. Loved the porcelain man who finally broke free from his perfect porcelain village! Great visuals and inspiring music!
Thank you, Marie. I found the 1st song in another villager's video and had to use it. I sent it to a friend to see if he'd re-do it and he did -- very well! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Thank you and congratulations again! There are so many lovely, thought provoking moments here. A mesmerizing production and truly a labor of love! Merry Christmas! Looking forward to your follow-on videos!
When I saw your video was posted, I popped myself a big bowl of popcorn, sat in my comfy chair, got my blanket and was ready to be impressed by the master mind "grampa Jim". Loved the opening MGM kitty and the first song with the harmonica player, guitar player and singer were spot on. You also have so many different buildings, don't know where you find them (Hungry Boy Drive In....really cute!). Also noticed you went back to the old Lemax animated car track, looks great and a lot less trouble than the Easy Streets we both have. The girls are so pretty and my how they have grown since Claire made her debut. The little one at the end stole my heart! And I LOVED the cameo appearance by none other than Jim the man! Next year I would like to see a golf course and you doing your thing! Great job my friend, I couldn't wait to see your production, well worth the wait! Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family. Happy and Healthy New Year too!
Thank you, Queen Muse! I do have a driving range (built as a facsimile of where I work) in this year's video, but I will show it in a follow-on video. That, along with a section of 12 Days of Christmas and another section that is Little Town of Bethlehem. As you know, it's hard to show EVERYTHING. Last 2 years I've had trouble with my EZ Streets (not so EZ); I think my transformer is messed up. I almost sold all my Lemax track & cars, but glad I kept some in reserve. BTW, next year I plan on a golf course -- the village of Pinehurst -- and you just sparked my old brain to include some green screening of me playing! Nothing but birdies! Merry Christmas to you and all your lovable family! I have to go watch your movie a dozen more times...
I've run out of words, Jim. AWESOME will have to do for now. It's featured on the "Village Videos Late Entries" page of our website until December 26th. Congratulations!
Thank you, Bill. As far as I know there are only 3 songs about a Christmas village. I managed to use them all. If you know of any others, pass them my way. Merry Christmas to you and your family and friends!
Ciao Jim, as always your village is spectacular, beautiful. Compliments! Many characters, the track with cars, the stories and so on. You used the green screen in a very professional way. I used it for the first time in my last village but as a beginner 😅. Best wishes to you and your family for a beautiful Christmas and a wonderful new year!
Ciao, Cesare! Thank you for your kind words. This year I used VEED, which is an on-line subscription service, to make the green screen video clips. I also improved the lighting to make the green background more one solid color. Green screening is not easy! Merry Christmas to to you and your family!
What a wonderful video! So well put together with the lyrics and pictures matching nicely. Also great quality with perfect focus. If ever there were Christmas village video awards this would be right up there! ( oh wait.. maybe there is!) I can’t wait to purchase that little running man when Lemax bring it out! Season’s Greetings to you and yours! Phil in Northampton, England.
Thank you, Phil. There is a small company in England that will make any little figurine you want. Their Facebook page is Christmas Village Creations. Have a Merry Christmas!
Hi Jim. I think this is your best yet (I have forwarded it in to eight friends). The stories are a great addition. You look especially good. Merry Christmas!
Thank you, Sean. I didn't know you had a channel. Did you recognize Ozzie doing the first song? A little customization from his home studio. The second song is an unpublished work of art. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Hi Jim! Great job on showcasing the village, especially the animation and live fill in. Watched from kitten to lion so you get a comment and a like...lol All the best to you and the family for the Christmas season and New year
Another great production! Were the songs original? They really told the story this year! Seeing you in the story was perfect. Merry Christmas to you and Laura and all of your family🎄
Thank you so much, Molly. The first song was re-done by a friend of mine in his small home studio, the second song is an unpublished song that was in a video last year, and the others I found on iTunes. Merry Christmas to all you love.

Thanks for sharing your awesome and creative village video. Here's to a prosperous 2023 and another trip around the sun.
Thanks, Pete. As long as my videos look different than all the others (and entertain), then I'm succeeding. I wish the best to you and your family!

Nice video, nice music, I love the inclusion of girls in the video. Fantastic, thanks for sharing. Very original. Congratulations.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Great job!!! Love the uniqueness of it all. After 30 years of collecting, I finally posted my village this year. Love the diversity. Again, great job.
Thanks so much. Your video blew me away!
Wow! Wunderschön 🥰!

Wonderful as always! Loved the animation with your granddaughters and you...
Thank you, Lisa! And thanks for your song, re-done by my friend Bob Ewan in his home mini-studio.
@@jpetersgolfpro I liked the song and your accompanying video. I thought it sounded a bit different.
