@@3xterminator05 i'm assuming by 'sub-zero' this is referring to the second one, kuai liang. so in mk2 scorpion thought that the new sub-zero was the first one, but then when he found out it was his younger brother, he became his protector, and remained his protector during mk3. then in mk4 the two fought but that was only because quan chi lied to scorpion. they then never interacted again other than in mka's most likely non-canon intro. so in the og timeline they only fought once, and that was out of a misunderstanding. not much of a rivalry imo. then in the second timeline scorpion did fight sub-zero at the second tournament for some reason. then they spent two years as undead allies then buried the hatchet as you say.
