I’ve been 2 times, going again in a couple of weeks - hard to get through everything - and pictures don’t do justice of the majestic and exquisite masterpieces - it’s absolutely breathtaking!!!!!!!
I am beyond speechless! I can't wait to show this to my mother, who is 80 and her love for French provincial furniture and art has been a part of her entire life. Thank you, Jordan This one's for you, mom. 💖
In all of my years, seeing all kinds of fantastic places, and even the ones you've taken us to, the Palace Of Versailles is breathtaking. Even on this old laptop, some of those paintings looked like velvet. I've never seen anything or anyplace as opulent as this. I hope after you filmed, you took the time for your self to walk back through there and really take it in. This has to be the most beautiful human created place in the world. Thank you Jordan.
That place is beautiful. Just imagine in the old days how hard it would have been to heat this place. And to keep it clean. Also the amount of money it took to build and upkeep would have fed the people for a long time.
Beautiful, I've read and studied it my whole life but to actually get to see it is such a treat. Ty so much for letting us travel with you. Be safe on the rest of your travels.
Wow, we went to Versailles in May of 2019, and the sky was such a bright blue, it was crystal clear out, and very sunny. Versailles was breathtaking to look at, off in the distance.
It took my cousins and i 3 days last summer to see Versailles. Its HUGE. i couldn't believe how many acres it takes up.the summer palace was my favorite and our kids loved the little village for Marie Antoinette had as a child. It was overwhelming. Your videos of this place are STELLAR:)
Oh my Jordan!! How ornate was this beautiful PALACE!!! The Royal Apartments, the Hall of Mirrors and the ceilings in general. I never knew the Palace of Versailles was on such a vast scale!! I bet the gardens would have looked stunning in the Summer, but still lovely to see them now. Fantastic vlog again Jordan.
What a WONDERFUL PRESENTATION of the VERSAILLES PALACE with you historic knowledge your interest and your gentle and genuine impression and comments ! I WISH YOU RESENTED EVERYTHING IN EUROPE
The palace looks like it could be a village !! How vibrant and colorful the rooms are, absolutely gorgeous. It just keeps getting better and better. Thank you for this beautiful vlog.
I can not imagine having to keep up with keeping everything restored in good condition ie the tapestries, the ceilings..it just boggles the mind. I have watched them painstakingly work on furniture and it takes months just to work on one piece. I just find it all absolutely amazing....and built on marshland to boot!! Just love this!!
Amazing, stunning, breathtaking, beautiful, incredible.......I give up I don’t think there are enough adjectives to even begin to describe Versailles! Thank You Jordan!
Full of all beautiful, wonderful things to see you just can't help but awe and appreciate everything of the Palace of Versailles! I'm from the Philippines and I think I will never have the chance to actually see and visit this place in person, so I'm so greatful to you for having seen this through video!
Now that we are in shut down, I truly appreciate going on this tour with you. You have captured the history and details exquisitely. Keep healthy and safe.
The Palace of Versailles is over whelming, it is almost too much to comprehend. The ceilings were magnificent and looked almost three dimensional, again over whelming to the eye to really comprehend. Thank you for the tour!
The ceilings are breath taking!!! It is all so beautiful it is overwhelming. This vlog is amazing . Now I understand the joy of going to Paris. I must go sometime😄
The Versailles Palace is the most opulent. However there are more castles on the outskirts of Paris that are also beautiful like in the fairytale stories we read as children. One of them was the residence of the real 3 Musketeers. Their faces are even beautifully chiseled against the stone wall entrance.
2 years later, I am rewatching this. I do believe it was the documentary "The Queen of Versaille" that led me to you channel and I have been hooked ever since.
Gorgeous. Hard to imagine all the money the palace cost to build and decorate. Plus, all the cost of costumes, foods, beverages, and horses, carriages, parties, ladies in waiting, etc., !!! Just mind boggling, to say the least. ThNk you for hosting such a wonderful tour Jordan👏🏼🤩
Thank you so much for this tour. I visited my senior year of high school, 200 yrs. ago! ha It's easy to forget just how opulent Versailles is! Magnificent!
When I visited the Palace of Versailles, I bought a beautiful tapestry pillow cover and had it professionally stuffed when I came back home. That was in 1997 and the tapestry pillow still looks like new in 2022.
Thank you so much for this fabulous video. You'll never know how much this means to me! I have actually been here years ago and felt so at home. I would also love to see one of Fountainbleu. Been there as well and also felt very at home. This one also means so much to me.
A soon as I saw your post, my thought was of "The Palace of Versailles" by Al Stewart, from the "Time Passages" album... Another history buff Englishman/Scot living in Northern Ca and still occasionally releasing thoughtful, poetic albums with a historical bent... Fascinating guy: before his success with "Year of the Cat" he was a transplant from Scotland who shared a London flat with Paul Simon and Sandy Denny. Check out "Year of the Cat", "Time Passages" and his minor masterpiece "Past, Present & Future" which features the absolutely stunning historical gem "Roads to Moscow". It'll give you chills... Can't wait to watch this when I come home tonight!
I've always wanted to go to Paris but this vlog makes me REALLY want to go to Paris even more 😍. Versailles is more beautiful than I could ever dreamed. Thank you for sharing this with us! Keep up the amazing work!! 😊
wow, stunning......he certainly was very creative and arty. I am glad that alot was preserved for generations to enjoy. Tyvm Jordan another excellent vlog.
I advise you to watch the movie, " Vatel". Its not about Versailles but it gives the best and most accurate depiction of Louis XIV. That Versailles TV show is crap. It's not even French its British.
I don't know what to say. Beautiful doesn't seem fitting enough. What an amazing place. So much art and beauty everywhere. Why can't some people follow directions? Thanks again for bringing us to Paris. Can't wait to see what else you have planned for us. Take care.
WOW!! It blows my mind to imagine what went on in the creative minds of that era 2 bring about such as what we r seeing in an out of the Versailles Palace in our era. An Inconceivably wondrous feeling. Actually !! TY Jordan
Thank you, Jordan!!! I have always had the dream of going to Versailles. What a wondrous place it is. Imagine the history that was made in this place. I'm absolutely awestruck!! You put a smile smile on my face with every vlog! Safe travels my friend.
I did enjoy that very much! The palace is unreal...I cant even imaging what it may have been like for them to live there. Absolutly beautiful! Cheers to you Jordan for this one...truly amazing!!!
Suggested listening: Sarah Vowell's audiobook, "Lafayette in the Somewhat United States." The founding fathers visited the Palace of Versailles then wrote the Declaration of Independence. It takes a whole lot of poor people to support a few rich people.
Makes me wonder why rooms were so expansive, servants would have had a devil of a time heating them. Fun to find out those gardens were not initially gardens in most of the huge architecture.
This is on my bucket list but my bucket has a hole in it!! Could you imagine that the men...not sure about the women, but they would relieve themselves on the walls of the palace!! The king kept his mistress, madam Pompadour there also. I have seen her rooms on line and those are equally spectacular!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!!! TFS!!!
A big thanks on this one! Another fantastic journey! Absolutely beautiful! It would be a dream for me to go there, so really appreciated you taking us there!
Thank you for such a wonderful video. I didn’t get dizzy at all with this one. Most people are swinging the cameras 🎥 around so much. Anywho thanks again. I’ve lived in Paris being a young one and I plan to go back and visit sometime soon .
I appreciate you vlogging this - as this is one of my dream places to go - that I will never actually see in person. I like how you vlog to show things carefully - loved it.
Thank you so much for going here. I loved it. My bedroom furniture is done all in gold. Lol but mine is done in spray paint . Lol wonderful video thank you again.
OMGoodness!!!! I, literally did my happy dance! 💃 I, watched the Versailles series on Netflix and Jordan, I am soooooo jelly and envious. I am yelling, "Jjjjjooooorrrddddddaaaaannnnn!!!I am jelly. " You go Jordan! Bravo! XxoooXxxxooXxx

I’ve been 2 times, going again in a couple of weeks - hard to get through everything - and pictures don’t do justice of the majestic and exquisite masterpieces - it’s absolutely breathtaking!!!!!!!
That place is beyond gorgeous. You take museums to a whole new level! Another fine job! Thanks man!
Exactly the same as my house except for the size, statues, furniture, paintings, yard, gold leaf, and some other minor differences. Great Vlog.
I am beyond speechless! I can't wait to show this to my mother, who is 80 and her love for French provincial furniture and art has been a part of her entire life. Thank you, Jordan This one's for you, mom. 💖

The palace of Versailles was absolutely beautiful, IN ALL it's splendor and grandeur.
The Hall of Mirrors was amazing! Can you imagine what it would cost today to build a palace like that.
Like 900 billion
That place is beautiful. Just imagine in the old days how hard it would have been to heat this place. And to keep it clean. Also the amount of money it took to build and upkeep would have fed the people for a long time.

Favorite part of Versailles is the Chapel and art work on the ceilings........breathtakingly beautiful!!!!!!
Thanks for the tour of Versailles! The gilding, gardens, and sky ceilings are magnificent. You are our eyes and legs for grand adventures! 🦁🦁🦁
My pleasure!
WHAT A SURPRISE!! WHEN I SAW THE gate ON YESTERDAY'S VLOG. I WAS HOPEFUL TODAY WOULD BE ON PALACE.
I'm beginning to understand the meaning of the song "How you gonna keep em down on the farm after they've seen Paree"!
It was all the colours, that got me. Still so strong and vibrant after, how many years.
What a WONDERFUL PRESENTATION of the VERSAILLES PALACE with you historic knowledge your interest and your gentle and genuine impression and comments !

Wow Jordan....you gave a superb tour of Versailles! I didn't realize it contained such opulence! Whoa. I'm still in awe. Thank you as always ~ Cathy
Been there twice. Never gets old or boring. And touring the grounds in a golf cart as it's so extensive.
Now that we are in shut down, I truly appreciate going on this tour with you. You have captured the history and details exquisitely. Keep healthy and safe.
Such extravagance while the French people were starving
The Palace of Versailles is over whelming, it is almost too much to comprehend. The ceilings were magnificent and looked almost three dimensional, again over whelming to the eye to really comprehend. Thank you for the tour!

Stunning Palace, I saw it from outside once, but it was nice to see the interior with you. Thanks for a wonderful tour.
It was originally a small cottage next to a mosquito riddled swamp. From little things big things grow!
