Hurt people hurt others. I met a woman who was unpleasant to everyone. Just mean. I prayed to God to show me why she acted this way. I started to see how others treated her. I then had compassion for her hurt. I went out of my way to be nice to her. I would smile and say hi to her. She used to take other people's equipment without asking so I saw her job was hard and started offering my equipment when I went on break. At first she looked at me like I was crazy but after awhile she returned my smile and returned my greeting and returned my kindness. She just needed to be loved.

I lost everything I had ever known, one right after the other...i found life to be pretty difficult & I honestly wanted to die. I didn't give up bc of myself or my parents (neither of which were present) anyway, but by something that cannot be seen. I used to curse God & do & say such hurtful things to people 😔 That's why i know God exists bc I was a pretty despicable person at one point & got a major awakening a couple years ago. I m proud to be hairdresser. I love my job. I thanks God all the times to give me this kind of work,? I pray for ppl when I cut their hairs, praying in silence or pray with them, a few ppl cried and after their cries, their problems were gone. A young man 18 yrs old came to get a haircut and didn’t know what wrong with him. Doctors didn’t find out. As soon as he sits in my chair and I start to cut his hair, he cried out loud. At home, That night I call all my friends to pray for him, they all said that he is ok, no problem. Yes,! Next hair cut he was happy and he was looking for a job, I told him apply for it at Enterprise car rental. Few years later, I went to rent a car, there he was working. And God use me to help more and more ppl at little hair salon🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

Robert, I'm standing in exactly the same shoes you are. I don't even leave comments let alone respond to people. This was exactly what I needed to hear. What did I google to get here? Am I supposed to.be jesus. And yes I felt arrogant typing that. I didn't even believe in God.until this last summer. He came to me, and I still can't process it. But I knew what I was supposed to be. I always have. We are not supposed to be big, everyone we do we mess everything up. Were just supposed to love eachother. I've said that to other children i have met. I never knew why, or why I knew it was the right thing to say. I feel solid hearing this. Because even when i didnt believe. I knew. I knew with doubt and without belief. That alone is enough for me. I became homeless this past april. My husband, out of fear, destroyed my life. I have been outside in Oregon, since april. I am thankful for my husband's fear. Because I have seen awful things humans are doing. But i have become kinder. My dignity and my integrity have never been so strong. I have wanted, begged, pleaded to give up. To colapse, to stop pushing for i have lost what little hope I had that I had a purpose at all, despite being the strongest person I know. All this pain for nothing, I wanted to die. And at dawn, at a dumpster, I saw an old woman. We spoke, well she spoke, for well over an hour. I cried, with relief and awe and exhaustion. She knew everything. She was so calm, and so kind, and she never stopped smiling. I've never ok my life felt that ok, like I was ok, and I was going to be ok. I was terrified. Because everything I never believed, was smiling at me, and she said. I have no idea why I came this way fit my coffee today. I never come this way for my coffee. But I'm glad I did, I haven't had one of these in too long. A divine meeting indeed. And she smiled at me, she said child don't lose sight of what you're supposed to be doing here. I want to see all my babies when they come home...and she left. That woman was god. I have no idea why I am even telling you this. But maybe you needed to hear it. I cannot and do not deny God anymore and while I am still suffering, greatly. I'm still outside, I'm having weird and awful health issues that are excruciating, and I am alone. I have been riding my bike, dragging my cart full of cans down the road crying because I am so tired, and can't seem to make more than 5 or ten dollars a day because I only find cans for income. I've had everything I own stolen more times than I can count. I lost everything I owned in my apartment before I even came out here. I can feel my heart. It is whole, and it hurts but it works. I'm thankful for everything that I've been through this year. Everything. Because I know my purpose. Im supposed to love. I'm supposed to SHOW PEOPLE love. Selfless love. And while I am tired of how that is misconstrued by men who are hungry and blind. I have learned my integrity, is real. And so is my love. And I remember to put my head back up when I walk. Because I've always been the strongest person I've ever known. And now I know why. Because humans are weak. While I still need to find my own brothers and sisters so I don't have to suffer how I do alone, I can and have always been that strength for others. I am strong enough to hold their pain, and their hurt. But this man is right. I can't carry it alone, I'm feeling it's weight finally, I don't want to carry it alone. I am more exhausted than I could even try to put into words. But I'm hopeful I can find those, strong enough to sit with me so I can stop crying. If you want financial blessings, you must GIVE and SERVE in whatever ways you can, not ask for others to. I have been in your shoes. The best things to remember as you pray are to practice the excruciating act of finding joy in adversity. Pray for her soul. Turn your back on the painful memories and actions. Refuse to let them dictate your life. And give God thanks for giving you this very large opportunity to grow closer to Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Mamie, or anyone else who has listened, where does Rick not just mention Jesus, but speak about Jesus Christ, crucified for sinners? That is, where does he explicitly share the gospel? It's a long sermon, with plenty of opportunity to point to repentance from sin, and trust in the forgiveness of God found through faith in the work of Christ. I seemed to have missed it. I heard a sermon only about the Christian, not about Christ. Remember that you also have to repent of your sins and love God fully! You cannot say that you love God and continue to sin. Also, your works do not save you, giving to the poor does not save you, going to church does not save you, only God has the ability to save you. This does not mean that you shouldn’t do good works but it means that they should not come from a place where you expect something (like salvation) in return.

I've been listening to him for years on KDRY. It just hit me that this is the person that got me through some of the hardest times of my life. I've been homeless,drug addicted and lost my children and through all this my love for God has remained and I fought to hold on to. Thank you God for Rick and thank you for KDRY. Shelby Oxendine , I just want to let you know, you serve God automatically when you believe the gospel. We go from enemies to servants. We can not please God in our flesh. No matter how hard we try. 1Tim2:5- There is One God and One mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1Tim 1:17- Now unto the king ETERNAL, INVISIBLE, IMMORTAL, ONLY Wise God John 4:24- God is a Spirit and we Must Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. God is the Only Wise Savior. There is One God. He Is A Spirit. He fashioned Himself as a man. He put on flesh. 1Cor 5:19- God was IN Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. Jesus was born of flesh, but he had the Fulness of God inside of him. Col 2:9- For in him dwelleth all the Fulness of the Godhead bodily. So when Jesus the son says, when you’ve seen me you’ve seen the Father, it’s because the Father is inside of him. Because God is A Spirit. Jesus the man died on the cross for us. Not of works, lest any man should boast. Also Jesus the son gave up the Ghost- that’s the Spirit of God. And the flesh of Jesus died. And God raised him from the dead. According to the scriptures. When we believe this, we get Gods same Spirit in us. 1Cor 3:16- know ye not that ye ARE THE TEMPLE of GOD and GOD DWELLETH IN YOU? Our flesh is filthy rags. We can’t offer a perfect God our filthy works. Our flesh is not getting perfected down here as a rehearsal. No. When we believe, we get the Spirit in us, we are born again of Incorruptible seed that can never die. Our Spirit is eternal! But our flesh is throwaway. It goes back to the dust. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. God gives us His righteousness. That’s our Spirit. He separates us ( sheep) from the goats. We will never taste death. ( our spirit cannot die), but our flesh dies, just like Jesus’ did. We can never ever perfect our flesh bodies to get into heaven. The Carnal mind is enmity with God. Our flesh is sinful no matter how hard we try. God cannot accept it into heaven. So all of the works you do in your flesh for others, is nice for the flesh, but does Nothing for your salvation. It’s a free gift. We are all sinners. And we must know that, in our flesh dwelleth no good thing. It’s an amazing gift From God!! I hope you read this and take to heart what I say. God knows the hearts of men. He knows if we believe the truth. The will of God is for us to believe in the gospel. We have this lifetime ( valley of decision) to hear the gospel and believe it. And be saved. OR hear it and harden our hearts to it, reject it and be destroyed. When our flesh goes back to dust, those with the eternal Spirit Are in the twinkling of an eye, with God in heaven. Hurt people hurt others. I met a woman who was unpleasant to everyone. Just mean. I prayed to God to show me why she acted this way. I started to see how others treated her. I then had compassion for her hurt. I went out of my way to be nice to her. I would smile and say hi to her. She used to take other people's equipment without asking so I saw her job was hard and started offering my equipment when I went on break. At first she looked at me like I was crazy but after awhile she returned my smile and returned my greeting and returned my kindness. She just needed to be loved.

George Nolan Well, I appreciate your comment. I guess I don't view him as a freak in the sky watching us though😂 I feel old at 35 bc of the life I lived for so many years. I lost everything I had ever known, one right after the other...i found life to be pretty difficult & I honestly wanted to die. I didn't give up bc of myself or my parents (neither of which were present) anyway, but by something that cannot be seen. I used to curse God & do & say such hurtful things to people 😔 That's why i know God exists bc I was a pretty despicable person at one point & got a major awakening a couple years ago. I have no family, very little friends, but I'm happy & I have love for people that once didn't exist. Life doesn't have to be hard, but it's mankind that makes it so. I get what you're saying though & I thank you for your response!

I m proud to be hairdresser. I love my job. I thanks God all the times to give me this kind of work,? I pray for ppl when I cut their hairs, praying in silence or pray with them, a few ppl cried and after their cries, their problems were gone. A young man 18 yrs old came to get a haircut and didn’t know what wrong with him. Doctors didn’t find out. As soon as he sits in my chair and I start to cut his hair, he cried out loud. At home, That night I call all my friends to pray for him, they all said that he is ok, no problem. Yes,! Next hair cut he was happy and he was looking for a job, I told him apply for it at Enterprise car rental. Few years later, I went to rent a car, there he was working. And God use me to help more and more ppl at little hair salon🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

Am I supposed to.be jesus. And yes I felt arrogant typing that. I didn't even believe in God.until this last summer. He came to me, and I still can't process it. But I knew what I was supposed to be. I always have. We are not supposed to be big, everyone we do we mess everything up. Were just supposed to love eachother. I've said that to other children i have met. She was so calm, and so kind, and she never stopped smiling. I've never ok my life felt that ok, like I was ok, and I was going to be ok. I was terrified. Because everything I never believed, was smiling at me, and she said.
I have no idea why I came this way fit my coffee today. I never come this way for my coffee. But I'm glad I did, I haven't had one of these in too long. A divine meeting indeed. I cannot and do not deny God anymore and while I am still suffering, greatly. I'm still outside, I'm having weird and awful health issues that are excruciating, and I am alone. I have been riding my bike, dragging my cart full of cans down the road crying because I am so tired, and can't seem to make more than 5 or ten dollars a day because I only find cans for income. I've had everything I own stolen more times than I can count. I lost everything I owned in my apartment before I even came out here. I can feel my heart. It is whole, and it hurts but it works. I'm thankful for everything that I've been through this year. Everything. Because I know my purpose. Im supposed to love. I'm supposed to SHOW PEOPLE love. Selfless love. And while I am tired of how that is misconstrued by men who are hungry and blind. I have learned my integrity, is real. And so is my love. And I remember to put my head back up when I walk.
Because I've always been the strongest person I've ever known. And now I know why. Because humans are weak. While I still need to find my own brothers and sisters so I don't have to suffer how I do alone, I can and have always been that strength for others. I am strong enough to hold their pain, and their hurt. But this man is right. I can't carry it alone, I'm feeling it's weight finally, I don't want to carry it alone. I am more exhausted than I could even try to put into words.
But I'm hopeful I can find those, strong enough to sit with me so I can stop crying.
Our father came to me at a dumpster at dawn, and gave me hope I never even realized I needed. I can find enough patience to make it until I find my brothers and sisters. Or until they find me.

I remember my parents telling me “you will understand when you have your own children”. I didn’t think I would have children but I did! I so understand what you mean. I used to watch my son sleep. It was the best time to silently enjoy my baby. I’ve had countless other times but it was the smallest memories that gave me so much joy.
Children are a true blessing.

Jesus never asked anyone to give to Him - whenever He prayed for and healed others, He freely gave.
He said freely you've received, freely give.
If you want financial blessings, you must GIVE and SERVE in whatever ways you can, not ask for others to. Especially if you want to pray for them, then pray, but do not ask for financial compensation for ANY reason. Its wrong to tell other that they must give money in order for God to bless them...That is not biblical.
If you have need then pray for God to help you and He will provide, and He will move the hearts of others to give if you've asked according to His Will.
However, It's just plain wrong to insinuate that someone you pray for will receive special things from God if only they give money. That is serving the love of money, not Jesus Christ.

It's a long sermon, with plenty of opportunity to point to repentance from sin, and trust in the forgiveness of God found through faith in the work of Christ. I seemed to have missed it. I heard a sermon only about the Christian, not about Christ. I've been listening to him for years on KDRY. It just hit me that this is the person that got me through some of the hardest times of my life. I've been homeless,drug addicted and lost my children and through all this my love for God has remained and I fought to hold on to. Thank you God for Rick and thank you for KDRY. Shelby Oxendine , I just want to let you know, you serve God automatically when you believe the gospel. We go from enemies to servants. We can not please God in our flesh. No matter how hard we try. 1Tim2:5- There is One God and One mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

God is A Spirit and cannot die. So when Jesus the son says, it is finished, and gave up the Ghost, it’s because it IS finished and there is no more needed to do. Except believe. It’s a free gift! Not of works, lest any man should boast. Also Jesus the son gave up the Ghost- that’s the Spirit of God.
And the flesh of Jesus died. And God raised him from the dead. According to the scriptures. When we believe this, we get Gods same Spirit in us.

Our flesh is filthy rags. We can’t offer a perfect God our filthy works. Our flesh is not getting perfected down here as a rehearsal. No. When we believe, we get the Spirit in us, we are born again of Incorruptible seed that can never die. Our Spirit is eternal! But our flesh is throwaway. It goes back to the dust. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. God gives us His righteousness. That’s our Spirit. He separates us ( sheep) from the goats. We will never taste death. ( our spirit cannot die), but our flesh dies, just like Jesus’ did. We can never ever perfect our flesh bodies to get into heaven. The Carnal mind is enmity with God. Our flesh is sinful no matter how hard we try. God cannot accept it into heaven. So all of the works you do in your flesh for others, is nice for the flesh, but does Nothing for your salvation. It’s a free gift. We are all sinners. And we must know that, in our flesh dwelleth no good thing. It’s an amazing gift From God!! I hope you read this and take to heart what I say. God knows the hearts of men. He knows if we believe the truth. The will of God is for us to believe in the gospel.
We have this lifetime ( valley of decision) to hear the gospel and believe it. And be saved. OR hear it and harden our hearts to it, reject it and be destroyed. When our flesh goes back to dust, those with the eternal Spirit Are in the twinkling of an eye, with God in heaven. But if there’s no Eternal Spirit in you, when you go back to the dust that’s it for you. You are no more. 🐑

He’s interested in us *reading His Word.* Read and hear Christ talk to you. *Read.* That’s how we know him. That’s what Jesus talks about in John 14. You can *know Him personally*
When Jesus says in Matthew 7:21-24 “Depart from me I NEVER *knew* you.” Not, I no longer know you- it’s Never.
So get to KNOW Christ by opening your Bible and just READ it. It’s so very important to do that 📖✝️💜
#1 Purpose is to know and to love God! I just turned 86 and my whole life has been chasing after God! Of course; many worldly temptations have kept me from actually getting there but lately the intent of my quest has reached a whole new level. Some days I feel an indescribable Peace; like here it is, I’ve got it! It doesn’t remain constant, at the same time it’s enough to keep me going - searching, reading, studying the word and listening to you Pastor Rick. Thank you for All the ENCOURAGEMENT AND LOVE.
