Brought back some memories as you drove past our final house in Peyia that we lived in before moving back to the UK, a little way before you come out onto the main road in Peyia.
We stayed in Peyia last year for the first time and returned this year, as we loved it. Paphos Harbour is lovely and we plan to return next year, hoping to go further afield, visiting different places. I think you drove past Savvas Grill in Peyia, the food and service is amazing staff are lovely
Yes another day please go straight on. We would be delighted as you would drive past our house. It is interesting to follow the road right along past the old goat farm which is sadly being developed now to meet up with the road down to Agios. Alternatively follow the road but don’t turn right instead go as far as you can out towards the sea. We call it the promontory. There’s a great view from there down Agios and the shipwreck. and you can see where they are building some quite big villas. There is a newly built little church near there at the top of a very steep hill to come back on known locally as Cardiac Hill. Thanks for another great video. I knew exactly what you meant about being unfamiliar with a place which is second nature to someone else. Really enjoy your commentaries. Thankyou. ❤
Not sure where there was a brown sign? I meant at 3:11 when you say I could have gone straight on. If you follow the road round the hillside you can take the second right to head back to the main road going down to the Agios road or alternatively keep left to see the view down to the coast and to head back down Cardiac Hill.
Very nice! Would love to see a drive on Akamantos Ave in Peyia. It's where Savvas Grill is located. I believe they're building a roundabout in that area.
