- Hello All! Here's my video showing all of the Beatles (Group And Solo) Japanese Pressings of their albums I currently have in my collection. This was one of the hardest videos I've ever worked on but I'm glad it's finished. Hope you all enjoy seeing the Japanese pressings in this video. Take care!

M1Garandstudios Thank You! I’m proud of these Japanese Red Vinyl Albums.
You know that I keep forgetting to add you with the biggest Beatles collections that I have ever seen. That includes outside the VC also. I am really impressed Marv. I had no idea you had such a massive Japanese collection. Way to go and thanks for showing them all. > Just awesome~

+Paneeks1960 {Rob/Boston} Hey Rob! I can't believe I read from you in a short time after posting the video! Yeah, I've been into Japanese Vinyl records for a couple of years and my Japanese collection is growing. Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the Japanese records! Take care!
I had a few of those EPS and a few of the 45's and Lps.The Evercleans are a great addition to any big-time Beatle collection.(Reds)
Holy cow!! An amazing collection!! Thanks for sharing!!!
You're welcome Matt and thanks for watching as well! 🙂
Found my way back to this video today, after recently revisiting the 2014 "Japan Box" CD box set in my latest video. So cool to see the the real records that were replicated for that box set. Also, you've answered a question I had. I was wondering if the lyrics inserts were included with the original LPs in Japan. Looks like the answer is yes. Pretty innovative for that time, considering The Beatles themselves did not include lyrics until Pepper.
Hello Mike. What’s interesting about Sgt Pepper is that because the lyrics were printed on the back cover, they included the lyrics in Japanese on the insert. The 2014 Japan CD Box is interesting but currently have no plans to get it. Thank you for watching this video again Mike. I might do another updated collection video showing the Beatles Japanese Records in the future. Thank you for watching
Beautiful records Marvin. I love those red vinyl records!
+Beatle Master Thanks Emmanuel!
Whew -- I am speechless after seeing this video, Marv. You have quite a large and amazing collection. How long did it take you to make the video with all those quick edits? I doubt I will ever amass as impressive a collection as yourself and CapHowdy.. but watching this video made me realize I do have a decent number of Japanese 45's, if not albums. Talk to you soon!
Hi Joe! Glad you finally had the chance to watch this video. The video took me about a few hours to record. The original length was almost two hours. I edited out the parts where I take my time putting the records away and the ones where I was goofing around. I had to watch the whole video, write down the time slots I needed to edit out, and use movie maker to edit the video down. It took me a few days! Regarding your Japanese collection, you showed some nice ones in your update videos. Hopefully you'll find more Japanese pressings in the future. Thanks for watching Joe! Take care
Nice editing on that ep segment ! Great video. Very enjoyable.
Wow this is great Marv! You have one of the best collections I have seen of Japanese stuff.
Nick Weidner Thanks Nick
Beatlevinyl85 I've been buying the Flag Series lately. I'll most likely do a video on that later this week.
Nick Weidner I'll watch it when it's up. Thanks
Totally wowed by your Beatles Japanese vinyl collection!!!!! Thanks so very much for sharing!!!!!!!
+CB Fall You're welcome and thanks for watching
Beatlevinyl85
Welcome Indeed!
Wow you are awesome man!!great Beatles collection I love to have them all !wish I am in your shoes .
Why were the Japanese records red?
From what I've recently learned, red vinyl was used on first pressings. It is supposedly high quality "low noise" vinyl, which are sought after by audiophiles for their excellent sound.
God Marv,
What a collection you have👍
I only have the Japanese cd box set and the the (vinyl) Beatles Story, you are streets ahead of me.
Can I ask where you picked up most of your Japanese collection, on line or a shop or market??
Keep collecting, I love your Videos, informative and educational 👍
Ken, (In Ireland)!
Hello Ken. For the most part I buy the Records either at eBay or on Discogs. I was lucky enough to find some of the Japanese records, like The Beatles Story, at a record store for $80. Thank you for watching Ken
Nice ! , Japanese pressings are very valuable & cool ...
Mario Torres Hey Mario. I may do another collection video showing my Japanese Beatles records in the future but it might be a separate part video. Thank you for watching
Just curious. What do you think of the sound quality of that Pro-Use copy of Abbey Road? I acquired a mint copy recently and I think it’s the best I’ve heard, although I’ve only heard half a dozen others, including the recent reissue. BTW, fantastic collection. Thanks for sharing. ✌️
Sweet! I'm at a loss for words...
Great collection!!! What pressing do you prefer, UK, Germany, Japan (taking only about the sound)? What about Japanesse, flag obi or green obi? Thanks for all this. Amazing!
Hello Yayo. My personally I prefer the US and UK pressings sound quality wise but I also love the Japanese and German albums. The Japanese records I have are wonderful quality. Thank you for watching
hi marv. was discussing with a friend a beatles LP collector. he advised me to minimize confusion, and blowing up ones bank ac to select just 1 series, stick to it and only collect the core releases. I think there are 13 of them. he mentioned that when he started collecting, he skipped titles like VI, no.5 , meet the beatles and so on. he just focused on the 13. then once that was done, he went on to another series, but still stuck to the 13. I think the 13 are the albums in the beatles bc13 box.
BAck in 1986, a year before the Beatles were released on CD wordwide, I purchased a JApanese WIth The Beatles. Red vinyl, cover looked exactly like in the UK. SAme track listing. Inner sleeve had Japanese writing though. For years I thought the records inJapan were like the UK. Until a few years ago, when I discovered these.
Awesome Japanese vinyl collection! Those 1st pressings on red vinyl are amazing. I only own an original "Abbey Road" on red vinyl with OBI. But also own the 82' mono's, BC-13 box and several AP 'Beatles Forever" series. I'd really love to get some of the Odeon 1st pressings. How do those sound btw?
私も結構 同じLP持ってます^_^
Chega um tempo em que o fã dos Beatles deixa de colecionar músicas e passa a colecionar álbuns da banda. Porque a essa altura, as músicas passam a ser "mais do mesmo".
I remember a gold-colored lp and back it had photos ... I heard later that it was from Japan and it was a single collection ... do you have that album?
since the 1st jpn issues are pricey, which is the next best issues to collect brother? the beatles forever series or the country flag series? thanks. p.s. I have the blue and red double LPs and they come with posters and booklets. really a pretty thick package. the cat number for the blue one is EAP-9034B. im sure you have it as well
Hello. I would go for the Beatles Forever series though the Country Flag series are nice too. I have the Japanese Red & Blue albums with I think the EAP catalog numbers. I have to look. Thank you for watching
Beatlevinyl85 just researched over at audiophile forums and they mentioned that the ap with 4 digit cat numbers are the one to go for and said the eas ate brightly cut. Then I found out that the beatles forever series- some of the titles are in the 5 digit. Hmmmm🧐
P.S. Marv, where did you get your Shirt?
Tks. Ken
I remember it was purchased at the Beatlefest (Now The Fest For Beatles Fans)
hi marvin I have just sent you a pm on your fb messenger :) hope that you have received it
Jason de Souza Hey Jason. I saw your message and have replied. Thank you
hi marvin, does the OR and OP cat # sound better than the AP and the EAS? heard online that the AP is better than the EAS. just wondering if the original presses, the or and op sound better than the AP. thanks
DO YOU HAVE A BOOK/GUIDE TO VERIFY WHICH ARE 1ST PRESSING,ETC.,ETC. ?? THANKS, GOOD VIDS...
jerry c I wish I do but I don't. I use Discogs for further information about a pressing
thanks, yeah, i use discogs alot too but their info isn't always 100% accurate.
Hello. I think the Japanese Pro Use Abbey Road sounds amazing. About a year after making this video, I managed to get a copy of the Abbey Road Pro Use with the OBI strip. Thank you for watching
