PLUS dovetail plate 645mm, connect ALTO and GIOTTO to EdgeHD 8” with aluminum dew shield

The PLUS 645mm Losmandy-style dovetail plate can be used with long telescopes. But if you have the EdgeHD 8” telescope with its aluminum dew shield and you want to use our ALTO telescope cover motor with GIOTTO flat field generator to remotely open or close your telescope and record flat fields, you can install this 645mm PLUS dovetail bar in parallel!

I love the setup. I just set my Celestron Edge HD 8 with the Alto and Giotto and waiting for the 915mm dovetail to be available for my Edge HD 9.25 to do the same. I have to say, many of us use a HyperStar and use other EAF. You guys need to make an adapter available for the Setto Senso 2 to be able to work with the SCT's focusers. I have a Setto Senso 2 sitting in its box. I might be able to 3D print an adapter, but would rather you guys came out with it.

This is great! I have an Edge 11. Will the 750mm PLUS work on Edge 11 with the Celestron aluminum dew shield, ALTO telescope cover motor, GIOTTO flat field generator?

For the EdgeHD 11" and 9.25" with the Celestron aluminum dew shield models you need a longer bar than the 750mm: but the good news is that we're already working on it and we plan to present it soon. Keep in touch!

I did the same configuration to use on my RASA 11

RASA11 is a long longer and you will need a longer dovetail bar for sure. In this moment we're working on a bar for EdgeHD 11" and 9.25" and I think the RASA11 is even different so we'll check this as soon as we'll have the possibility to take measurements for this telescope. I am curious? How did you set it up? What dovetail did you setup to cover the dew shield? I have an Alto and Giotto for my Edge HD 9.25 sitting in boxes waiting for the 915mm dovetail.

What’s the recommended one for C9.25 edge hd? I want to use it with dew shield and motorized flat panel on C9.25 edge hd.
