This is a strategy and tip guide to blitz, as i play the game aswell and want to help him in whatever way i can. Plz like this so he sees it!
There are a total of 7 enemy units in the game, each i will list a counter for
Militia- use pikemen or archers
Regular sheilds- only real counter are pikemen, or archers flanking
Special Sheilds(ones that throw axes)- nothing is more effective than maxed sheilds
Archers- sheild men, or a distraction unit moving in front of them before they land, while your archers snipe them off high places
Giants- only real counter is pikemen
Beserkers (enemy soldiers with 2 s-words and jump in) - Archers are most effective, but maxed out sheild men are a close second.
Giant balista holders (u haven't seen yet) - Maxed sheildmen, but you can hide behind houses or rocks untill they land
Tips:
If you put two spear men squads in between where an enemy will land, they are going to poke at each side, leading to a massacure
Maxed sheild men are ok against all enemies but they can be overwhelmed with numbers easily.

You can solo with archers you just need the right strat

Blitz, lead with swordsman against the axe throwers to block the axes.
Also, archers can melee too if needed.
And archers have the best chance of knocking approaching shieldsman into the water if they're on ground level and shooting at them at an angle.
This is such a fun game to watch! I would love to see some more bad north videos. ❤❤

Wilda is best as infantry because Wilda himself fights with his troops and at level three is as strong as the Viking brutes (giants)

I've loved every episode of this for years!
cool throwback to the old badnorth series. Anyways, those t3 axethrowers, called the normans I think, and the little assasin like guys are meant to counter pikes and make the player use swordsmen and archers in some senarios. Just wait until you encounter the giant archers lol.

Just hide and use Volley. Oops you dont have it hope you have level three Infantry. Oops you don't well you die
@@itsamine4840 lol yeah. Usually my archers can deal with them before they get to shore, but once they do get to shore if you don't have good inf or an ability its devistating.

Blitz i beg you to not make the same mistake i did, do NOT loose the final island, do NOT retreat NO MATTER WHAT, you HAVE to win and having houses is essential, i lost all my houses and ended up not being able to complete the final island i never even beat the game
Use wilda cuz they giants and the giants are really strong

I have seen blitz and/or baron try to start this game 3 times, but always restart or not get far. I play the game pretty much the same way sometimes.

It is easier for archers to knock people off the boats if the have to heavy weapons trait
You do not have to pick an island next to the last one you played. You can pick any that are attached to any island you have already played this campaign.
or you can download the long dakr and then download the coop mode and play with intern😎

Nice but you will die eventually so I recommend getting really good reserves or allowing level redstarts when you make worlds.

I think you can do better with your reinforcement timing. Sometimes, when there are so many people coming to attack you and they are already almost on shore you choose to reinforce them instead of before hand. good video though.
