A note about Fight: The creature has to SURVIVE fighting in order for you to get the effect. Also for chains, you don't lose a chain if you didn't draw cards up to hand size. So if you end the turn with 6 cards in hand and go to the draw phase, and don't draw a card, you don't lose a chain. You only lose a chain when you would draw a card up to your normal non-chained handsize but don't.
As usual your videos are top notch and very informative! Would love a video on Final Fantasy Trading Card game! Regardless I enjoy all the hard work you do for the community and viewers!
Thanks, Professor! I've been curious about Keyforge since it was sold out locally for the holidays. I'll join the Final Fantasy TCG chorus and say that should be the subject of a future video :)
Please make a video about the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game, please! It plays a lot like Magic, which gives it a fairly easy learning curve! I just know you'll like it!
Final Fantasy tcg next please!!! I think many of your MTG followers will very much enjoy FFTCG as the mechanics are very similar, but tweaked enough to fix one of the fundamental issues in Magic, which is Mana flood/screw. As an MTG player for about 20 years, I tried fftcg and love the gameplay and the community!!! Love the channel, keep up the good work!
For purely comedic purposes, I'd like you to try and cover really complex board games (like those WW2 campaigns that take 10+ hours to resolve) just to see how much explanation you can cram in 15 minutes or less. It would more sketch than actual How To Play but I feel like that could be your style of comedy.
Do the Final Fantasy TCG. If you need product let us know. I’ve been playing FFTCG for 2 years non stop. It is amazing and the community is super down to earth I plan on playing for a long time and continue to make friends there that last a life time.
I would love for you to go over the Final Fantasy TCG! It's a great game I think a lot of people would be interested in because of it's ease to learn and from a franchise that has touched us all for many years, stories, and characters that are all in the game! There's a new set coming out in less than a months time too so it would be a great intro to get people to try it out!
FFTCG PLEASE!!!! The game is honestly the best around, with a FANTASTIC community! You will love explaining this just as much as you will playing, trust me. I've been playing card games for over 20 years and this is by far the best!!
Keyforged has become so popular at my LGS it has replaced Friday Night Magic. Magic night is now Thursdays, which is great for Magic Players as there is another store 15 - 20 minutes away that still does FNM. Both stores have nearly doubled their player bases.
@Matt Helps My game store owner is crying because of this game. He bought like hundreds of packs of this crap product and has got stuck with them. It was played once or twice and then abandoned.
FFTCG please! The Final Fantasy TCG is so good, but so few seem to know it exists. Based on some inside knowledge on general card prices, it'd also be a great candidate for your booster box game!
Thanks Professor! Ever since I have picked up this game I haven’t played Magic. I don’t think it will ever “kill” magic but I love the complexity of having to figure out your deck coming from a sealed / draft magic player.
Can you please go over the Final Fantasy TCG?. It is a fantastic card that that will be on it's 8th set or "Opus" in a few weeks. The card quality is outstanding, it is incredibly balanced, and has a fantastic way of integrating concepts from the video games into the cards themselves. Thanks!
Final Fantasy TCG!! It’s close to Magic, but has some nuances and improvements (imo) over Magic. Very deep game but pretty easy to learn - especially if you have a Magic background, as much of your audience does!
Please do a Final Fantasy Trading Card Game (FFTCG) tutorial. The game is a lot of fun and I think you would grab a lot of interest from Final Fantasy fans in general!
I've been playing Magic since 2004 and have played almost every major TCG/CCG that has been released and besides Magic, KeyForge is the only one that has kept me playing for longer than a month, between it's literally unique design, balanced gameplay and execution.
@@eueu2 You can't customize your decks but it also means your opponent can't either. I haven't really ran into problems with it being pay to win. There are people at my LGS who have bought $200 worth of decks(24 decks total) and while someone might get the occasional very good deck, they seem to be few and far between. Sealed events are especially fun because everybody opens a new deck, has a few minutes to look it over and they jump right into the action.
I commented in one of your livestreams asking if you've played the Final Fantasy TCG and you said you haven't gotten a chance to, and this might be a good opportunity! I'd love to see you'd explain it, it's a good fit for you prof!
Awesome video! I was on the fence about playing keyforge but it looks like a fun game i can pick up and have a fun night with my friends, thanks for the video!!
12:50 _"What game would you like to see me cover the rules of?"_ -Any card game which needs exposure: Warhammer Champions, Bushiroad games, Legend of the Five Rings, Force of Will, Ashes. -Independent tabletop RPGs, especially generic systems like the Burning Wheel ecosystem, Powered by the Apocalypse, Genesys, Cypher System, Savage Worlds, GURPS.
I would honestly love to see you cover the game Cardfight Vanguard! It's a really fun, fast, and interesting card game with beautiful full art on its cards and I wish more people played it.
"Cards take precedence over the rules" is pretty much exactly what I say to my friends when I teach them MTG. Whenever I explain a rule I always follow up with "... Unless a card says otherwise"
Professor, you forgot to mention that the Fight bonus when using a creature to fight, its only applied if your creature with the said bonus survive. (If it does not say otherwise)
Hey Professor! Whats up!? Thanks for more super cool content- just your boy dropping in to remind you that Ellen Beeman (published author) has once again given me a subpar grade on my team's performance? I said- "You think you're a professor? I'll show you a professor!" And I launched the UA-cam (TM) app and showed her your review of how you could turn a toolbox into a way to hold my cards (all of which are quadruple sleeved commons)! Anyway, I'm sort of rambling now, but I just wanted to let you know I'm keeping an eye on your little brother and he is doing very well in class. Also we failed our presentation, so he's not doing very well in class. The point is, I go to house parties.
I know loads of people would appreciate you doing a video for FFTCG (Final Fantasy TCG) next, it’s a lot of fun!!
A note about Fight: The creature has to SURVIVE fighting in order for you to get the effect. Also for chains, you don't lose a chain if you didn't draw cards up to hand size. I was looking for this fight comment. This is one of the most frustrating things for new players to remember and it should definitely be pointed out
Another +1 for FFTCG best mechanics of any cardgame out right now and doesn't get the spotlight it deserves
2 years after its release and I'm playing more KeyForge than ever. The latest 2 sets are even better. I love this game!
Wew went down to say FFTCG and the comments are flooded with people saying so, add one to the pile tho I'd love to see the game get more rep!
Final Fantasy Trading Card Game. There is an active scene in the Portland NW area that would be happy to help you learn.
I'd love to hear you do your next video on the Final Fantasy TCG! Even if you don't know anything about FF lore, the game plays so well!

Please do the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game next!
I think doing the FFTCG would be great, it's a really diverse game with a meta that is super varied. It's also growing fast!
Please make a video about the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game, please! It plays a lot like Magic, which gives it a fairly easy learning curve! I just know you'll like it!
Thank you very much for making this, now I can send it to friends who never played before they come over to play :3
Final Fantasy TCG, prof. It's pretty simple to explain and super fun (and cheap) to play!
Please show off the Final Fantasy TCG next. The game has amazing mechanics and is a fantastic game.
Final Fantasy TCG please!
How to play Final Fantasy TCG, please and thank you.
Final Fantasy tcg next please!!! Brilliant. Thank you, Professor, for providing a clear, simple explanation of Key Forge. Your teachings of Magic are also much appreciated. Thank you!
do the Final Fantasy TCG!

I'd love this. Maybe How To Play Battletech: A Game of Armored Combat.
"Virgin Queen" would be lovely.
Axis vs Allies :]]]
My favorite game to take an entire school week to finish with friends.
Campaign for North Africa... you can take *16* minutes for that one!
what kind of WW2 campaign are you writing about?

Would love to see the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game!
Do the Final Fantasy TCG. If you need product let us know. I’ve been playing FFTCG for 2 years non stop. It is amazing and the community is super down to earth I plan on playing for a long time and continue to make friends there that last a life time.
Please teach FFTCG! It's a great game with similar mechanics to MTG, with a wealth of lore to boot!!
Final fantasy tcg as it is currently the best TCG out there
I would love for you to go over the Final Fantasy TCG! It's a great game I think a lot of people would be interested in because of it's ease to learn and from a franchise that has touched us all for many years, stories, and characters that are all in the game! At 6:40 you spelled "creature" as "create".
:P
"In less than 15 minutes or less".
I love you, Professor.
I agree with everyone who's posted about Final Fantasy: TCG, it is an amazing game! Please teach everyone about Final Fantasy TCG!!

Final Fantasy TCG! Heroes and Villains Starter Deck?
Final Fantasy tcg would be amazing Prof!
FFTCG please! The Final Fantasy TCG is so good, but so few seem to know it exists. Based on some inside knowledge on general card prices, it'd also be a great candidate for your booster box game!
Kayla Lockwood So many people have mentioned it in the comments here that now I want to try it out!
Nice work Prof! Expertly explained. Really enjoying KeyForge so far, would love to see you do more on it in future.
Would love to see the Final Fantasy TCG featured on your channel next. The game is still pretty new but has a great and

Everyone else already said it, but FFTCG is the reason why I barely play Magic now
"Play your Dis cards” should probably be rephrased since it sounds like “play your discards.”
Final Fantasy TCG!! It’s close to Magic, but has some nuances and improvements (imo) over Magic. Very deep game but pretty easy to learn - especially if you have a Magic background, as much of your audience does!
I have a Key Forge game in an hour and have never played before. This video was extremely helpful!
FFTCG, for the love of god. It's the best TCG that has flown under everyone's radar.
Cute doggo
Lets get Final Fantasy TCG out there prof
Do FFTCG next!
This is one of the most clearly explanation of the rules if have seen this far. Thank you.

This video has been up for 3 minutes and already has a thumbs down. That's not fair! You do a good job Prof and deserve better.
Probably saw it wasn't Magic (or Pokemon) and went right for the downvote button.
Opamigaaa Why? ;:v?

you are a real professor, best video teaching how to play, thanks
Professor, you forgot to mention that the Fight bonus when using a creature to fight, its only applied if your creature with the said bonus survive. (If it does not say otherwise)
Very nicely done. Thank you for a concise, entertaining and informative video.
This looks fun. The only tcg I've ever played is Magic, but I may have to try this one.
