I love this video. I grew up in southern Delaware, the area I believe Ms. McGuire was speaking of with the story of stealing the bike, going to Millsboro and seeing the man in the stockade. I'm 52 now and my parents still live in the same house since I was a kid. Their place is between Unity Branch and Phillip's Branch, near Hollyville, Harmon's Hill and Angola. I feel fortunate that I grew up with a diverse group of friends of many descents, including Nanticoke. Just a few miles away in Georgetown or Millsboro, folks of different backgrounds didn't seem to mix much. I believe experiencing those different cultures (and never really seeing much of a difference from myself in any) has been a blessing.
