This is a nice one! A movie that flows nicely without any exaggerations. It's touchy, sensitive, likable, and above all enjoyable. Great acting by both male and female lead roles. Director did a great job of capturing and packaging the story with the right amount of humor, sentiments, and romance. I enjoyed watching it!

Last week, I randomly tuned into a Tamil movie on TV. Most of it had already passed as I jointed in mid way and I haven’t watched a lot of Tamil movies in the past (except from much beloved movie Roja and Arvind Swami - Manisha Koirala movies) but this one seemed interesting as it was a story about a school and a reunion of friends. As minutes passed, I was absolutely hooked on to the story and could not take my eyes off this amazing actor and his character. Then I realised that this amazing person called Vijay Sethupathi exists in this world and I had not known about his work before. Since then, I made it a bucket list to watch all his movies. Thank you for making his movies available on UA-cam and adding the English subtitles, so I can understand the story.
The film is more than wonderful, a big congratulations to the screenwriter, director and cast team. It discusses many issues and problems of youth and society.
In that last scene makkal selvan goes from sad and wistful to happy. He gives meaning to the title by portraying that range of emotions. Perfect. But then i expcet no less from Sethupathi. And I love Madonna. Wish i could see more of her esp opposite VJS.
