Letting go starts when they are smaller... and especially adolecents... then you have internalised the process, and know how to let them live their own lives.
I really struggled with this recently, and your video helped me find some peace. Learning to let go and trust their journey is a real challenge, but I’m getting there!
Internally I pouted and threw a pity party when my oldest daughter got married!😮 11 years later.. I’m in the process of letting go! Looking forward to being a 1st time grandma in November! ❤
All channels encourage retired people to socialize and travel. However, when you're no longer earning a significant income, how can you afford to do these things, especially traveling?
I live interstate, very far away from my children. They all have their own families. Although I have regular calls with them, I lie to them about what is going on in my world and let them think I'm living my best life. I don't want them worrying about me when there’s nothing they can do to improve the situation.
When it’s a role you’ve played all their life it is hard to step back it’s easy to feel like you’re not needed so much and they need to make ther own decisions it’s hard when you love them so much thankyou for the video ❤️😊👍🏻
Personally l was happy when my son left home. We don't all have good relationships with our children. My son was verbally and emotionally abusive. I lived in fear of him so l had no problem letting go.
My daughters are in the late 30's. Successful, good moms, educated and happy. I'm here if they need me for anything, but l don't intrude especially between them & their husbands. It's hard, but my husband and l are ready to fly! 🙂💖

Great help! Thank you.
No worries!

I recently had to let go of my daughter who was also verbally abusive!
My son is 13 and has been severely verbally and emotionally abusive. I love him so much but looking forward to the peace not the loneliness
