      I would like to see what companies you support for cloth shopping and why what companies you don’t and why? If they’re sustainable? If they’re worth the money and where to shop for what ? And how much should an item cost? I want to know if I’m over paying or under paying? Ect I bought a jean jacket for $25 and I guess I should’ve know better it hasn’t even been 6 months and it’s already fraying! I have started my capsule wardrobe thanks to you and want to invest in good pieces that will last me a long time not pieces that will fray soon! 😫

    Thank you, Justine for your professionalism in regards to your video production. I so appreciate your direct and succinct style of presentation. Thank you for not making your viewers watch a long, musical intro every time They view one of your videos. Thanks for not sharing your cute pets or explaining something or some noise in the background, etc. I’m busy. I want to get to the point. I really have learned a lot from you about fashion that is meaningful in my own life. I’ve become more thoughtful about how my purchases impact our world in so many ways. I’m still learning, but I’ve become more focused on what I want from my closet and how to get it. Though still a work in progress, my wardrobe is much more in control than it once was. When friends tell me they have nothing to wear or it takes forever to get dressed, I refer them to you. Thank you.

    I was watching your 2 and 3 year old videos for comfort ad motivation to take better care of my look and myself. These you have produced during the pandemic came to me tonight, and have been a higher level. Comfort, yes, but that there will be an end. It's April 2021. I need to start caring about this again, even if other humans are incredibly scary even after both vaccine doses. Thank You. I had my first business meeting in more than a year, and I wore make up, lightly. It felt good.

      @@justineleconte Except for the warmest weather, I routinely wear a scarf at home in order to give my neck and shoulders an extra bit of warmth. Especially during this period of isolation because I often sit more which can put strain on both. When my neck and shoulders are slightly chilly they get tense--and heaven knows more tension is the last thing we need now (or any time for that matter).

    Hi, Thank you for this video. I have been wearing the same kinds of clothes for 25 years. I came to the conclusion, after I was involved in a traffic accident and had my career abruptly come to a stop, that I didn't need any nice or fancy things anymore. In my life before that, I was in a very formal setting (court rooms and Public Prosecutor's offices), and now I'm in a very casual one (about bed bound, except for maybe 8-12 hours per week). Lately I have come to resent my black, well fitted mind you, t-shirt and yoga/jazz pants in black, and I'm on the hunt for a style that works in my life but isn't a, to be honest, a day pajama. But now THIS, in the world, doesn't help much (my immune system doesn't play well with viruses, so when they say isolation, I am well and truly isolated). And along comes THIS Video, and a few others, and I go yummy, I do need some of this, but how do I get there... This will be a project that I can do from my bed, thanks to UA-cam, and maybe a delivery service from a few select shops.
    Thank you for sometimes being very French, and always being clear and stringent in your message and delivery. Also, Thank You all you people in the comment section, all your discussions and comments are so interesting wonderful and enlightening, and make me feel so fortunate to have and read. You are awesome. I'm looking forward to the next video already. Yours, Ann

    Hi Justine! Thanks for the useful information. One suggestion if you’re taking any- I wish you’d post clothing options that are affordable. For example in your description box for this video, you have $433 pants! I know it’s just to show the style of pants but we’d feel better if we know we can get the same styles in affordable prices. I hope you take it into consideration and not as an offence. Thanks!

    • @justineleconte
      @justineleconte  4 роки тому +3

      I did not take the prices into account for this video, I was just trying to look for the right shapes/colors/proportions. If you go to a shopping website, you can search and filter "beige", "palazzo pants", etc. and then also filter by price range. That should do. It's easier when you already know what item to look for :-)

    Hi Justine, great insights, thank you! Could you make a video to describe type of pants/trousers/jeans that suit best someone with short legs? I always have doubts whether to wear cropped jeans or above the ankle. Thanks! Stay safe!

    Hello Justine, thank you so much for the video.
    I’d like to know more about pear shape.
    I’m petite also and it hard to find a chic style. Thanks!

    Can you please do a video of how to transition styles? I feel I have a bunch of stuff in my wardrobe that's no longer my style but I don't want to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe!

    I'm interested in your thoughts on the "clasic-elegant at home whilst still comfy" style.

    Justine, Thanks for such timely advice. I love your use of the word "curating" my wardrobe! As a late 50's women in regional Australia I'm in the midst of a transitional stage in life and career at present and the idea of minimalism as chic rather than maximal is something that sits well with my life long approach to clothing aesthetics. I've been told frequently that I look 'put together' or 'always well presented' but now I know what principles I have been using without even knowing it. My mum's generation would have said it was ladylike, but I much prefer to think I have at least an inkling of french stylishness. 😉
    One question: my personal style tends to be classic, but I have a choppy pixie cut and short oval face. I've tried adding a scarf or hair pin to my hair but it always feels out of place. Any suggestions, or is this just not for me?

    Minimalism is more sophisticated, but maximalism is more fun for a casual or less formal setting!

    Hi Justine, considering we want to wear quality pieces for many years usually 4-5 main natural fabrics like cotton, silk, wool, linen, can withstand how many washes without looking faded, jaded? Idea being after how many washes should we discard each? Would be obliged if you can make a video on this

    A statement bracelet always adds. You are so right. Right now as we move into spring in Salem MA I am struggling with hats glasses and masks. Better transitional hats are needed not too warm stay on in the wind (A return to hat pins?) And do not have a rear brim that gets tangled up in collars. Oh so many parameter so sorry but help I do not think well made hats for woman exist. Not a baseball cap please

    I'm new to your world. I noted from earlier videos that "white" women should not wear orange. Your lipstick in this video seems somewhat orange on my monitor. Are clothes different than makeup in color choices? Is it technology distorting? Thanks!

    I am of warm type, does it make sense to wear a warm toned top and a a cold toned bottom, of same colour?
    Also now that I finally figured out I am a warm type, any advice on what to do with any tops that don't suit me in tone? Any advice besides to get rid of such clothes :)

    • @justineleconte
      @justineleconte  4 роки тому

      I guess you could do that... the important thing is to not have a cool color next to your (warm) face, because that would feel off. I don't think you'd have that issue with the bottom garment. As a warm person, you're looking for anything red, red-purple, orange, yellow and green (and yellow-browns, green-browns, etc.).

    • @chetnaparashar22
      @chetnaparashar22 4 роки тому

      You can wear the top with some warm colors scarf around your neck.. the closest color to the face has to be warm.. I guess that'll work if wearing a scarf is an option
